By now, one must wonder what’s going on.
In recent weeks the following Democrats have gone off the Obama reservation, at times directly challenging Dear Leader in ways that regurgitate for days in the news cycle much to his horror:
Cory Booker, Mayor of Newark, who is now “dead” to the Administration for having the utter honesty to tell a TV reporter that he was nauseated by the attacks on Bain;
Ed Rendell, former Pennsylvania governor, who, while making the rounds promoting a book and promoting Hillary Clinton, appears to savor opportunities to challenge Obama;
Artur Davis, former Alabama congressman, who proclaimed that “this is not Bill Clinton’s party” as he announced that he’s becoming a Republican;
Sen. Diane Feinstein, Democratic Chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, who has excoriated the Obama Administration for sensitive security leaks; and of course…
Bill Big-Dawg Clinton, who has had to walk back so many Obama digs in the past week, aids are now suggesting he’s senile. (Oh, sure. If Bill Clinton is senile then Barack Obama really is the smartest president evah. Whatever).
There are more. There are so many Democratic critics speaking out so often that I’m losing track: Gov. Deval Patrick of Massachusetts; former Obama “Car Czar” Steve Rattner; former Obama advisor Van Jones (of all people!); former Tennessee Rep. Harold Ford; Sen. Chris Coons of Delaware — all of whom have publicly defended Mayor Booker. Fearlessly, I might add.
And now Lanny Davis, former Special Counsel to Bill Clinton, today said this:
“We’re both (speaking of Clinton and Davis) concerned about the tactics (Obama’s) campaign is employing….(He should) talk about his record rather than going negative on Mitt Romney…
“This is how bad it is….Koolaid drinking people — meltdown!”
Surely I’m not the only one who’s noticed that most of these rogue party poopers are Hillary Democrats. What on Clinton’s Earth is going on?
Shout out to Bud White!

Never fear, the angry, ballistic progressive liberal bloggers are here to claim anyone who does not COMPLETELY agree with them was a faux Hillary Clinton supporter all along.
Still cannot believe they took the nomination away from Hillary – I wasn’t her biggest fan, but do respect her. What the heck did Obama’s team have on the Clinton’s, to allow this to happen?
It probably started with George Soros. I’m pretty certain Hillary Clinton was more concerned about main street, while Soros was more concerned about his own bottom line and felt that Obama was more controllable.
Mary, I that theory was tossed abut in 2008, as I recall, but nothing serious came of it. Several factors contributed to the outcome in 2008. With MSM spinning everything in Obama’s favor, rampant accusations of racism, the caucus fraud, the illegal campaign contributions, the pre-selection of Obama as the nominee by the DNC, the theft of Hillary’s votes by the RBC, several untimely but questionable deaths, and many other sleazy happenings, the theft of the nomination was accomplished.
It seems to me that with Bill railing on him all over the place, if Obama had something “on the Clintons” he would use it now to reign Bill in.

I think what we’ve got here, TD, is a freakin’ REVOLUTION!! I’m sure some folks will find a way to spin this long overdue honest commentary on the deficits of Obama and his administration, into a great boost to Obama’s campaign. We have seen those pathetic attempts to convince the public that Obama “won” in WI with the failed recall effort – since he didn’t visit the state to show support,. And, of course, lost in the delusional spin of l of the Obamanuts, Clinton lost because he did visit WI. Desperate is as desperate does. The problem is, no matter how you try, you just can’t spin sh** into sugar, so let ‘em have at it.
I just know it looks a lot like a rebellion to me, and it’s a lot of fun to watch. Most fun I’ve had watching the news since O stole the election.
Clinton won because he stood with the workers in WI, while Obama hid. So even though Barret lost, the message is that its the Clintons who will stand with the workers, NOT Obama. As Unions accross the country watched this go done, they heard loud and clear what the rest of us already knew, that Obama doesn’t give a shit about workers or the working class.
This belief that main street and the unions are completely united is just not true. The two groups want to be united, but after decades of seeing what looks like an unflinching attitude by unions when negotiating their deals, main street is not necessarily in step with unions.
Unions only make up 11% of the entire work force.
However, main street has a deep respect for the jobs that the unions do do, yet wonder why their own tax levels have to rise to the point where they will lose their homes, all for pension promises made in exchange for votes many many years ago.
EXACTLY! You either believe in a cause and have the guts to support it, as Clinton did, or you hide and watch others do the work – like Obama.
Eggzactly freespirit.
Texas Darling is glad to see you posting here again, I do see you at Hillaryis44.
AMEN !!!
Never a “racist,” my issue with Obama were his numerous unknowns – who were his people? He obviously HAS no more of his own people than did George Bush. He had to appoint Clinton people to too many top jobs. His “Team of Rivals” strategy had the Team Spirit, but, somehow HE didn’t play with or on his own team! I have SEEN how the Clintons recover from defeat and rise to challenges. The “One” had NEVER been questioned, much less challenged by his academic supporters. The Clintons owe this turkey nothing and the only record he’s produced is excuses. The Clintons and all their people know it. They played the Media’s game: ACCESS. So they stroked the “tough guy” ego who proves he’s a stupid thug without skills and has developed none during his joyride in the Ship of State. He’s bombed in his attempts to win over world leaders with his charisma; they recognize the self-absorbed fool and played him. He burned bridges behind him to the nomination and his “people” are burning off influential donors with their crudeness and immaturity. The Rennaissance Studies created skillful diplomats who are sending the world a message while the President and his cheating heardies have played right into the hands of the experienced Clintons. It may be early, but I’m calling it: Obama is toast.
The timing on this rebellion is most interesting. Wonder what’s up? If this is not a concerted effort, then they each have finally reaching the tipping point because they know he is doing that badly and cannot get behind 4 more years of this.
The timing does make it more interesting. It seems like a well played, coordinated effort. But of course, could be merely that critical mass kicked in. Either way, I think Obama is going to learn a lesson or two about tugging on superman’s cape. lol
Treating everyone like they’re your lackey can only work for so long. Burning bridges is not a real great idea..
So great that you are posting again, TD.

A blast from the past.Enjoy
Hi, I just found this on the NYTimes. Maybe this is old news to you all, but it certainly explains much to me. I thought that Obama was a dog not to help Hillary; now I guess her husband is making him help.
thanks for your great blog!

Obama Campaign Raises Money for Hillary Clinton
By NICHOLAS CONFESSORE
Four years ago, the Obama fund-raising machine worked to bury Hillary Rodham Clinton. Now his contributors are opening their wallets for her.
Obama campaign officials have asked the president’s elite donors and fund-raisers to donate to Mrs. Clinton’s defunct presidential campaign committee, with the goal of retiring $245,000 in debt left over from her 2008 White House bid. As secretary of state, Mrs. Clinton is barred from engaging in political activity or actively fund-raising for herself.
People familiar with the effort said the campaign’s outreach grew out of discussions with Mrs. Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton, who has agreed to headline a series of major fund-raisers for Mr. Obama’s presidential campaign, including one this Sunday at the Virginia home of Terry McAuliffe, a former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Mr. Clinton has also been approached to help raise money for Priorities USA Action, a “super PAC” founded by former Obama aides that has had difficulty attracting donors.
“We are helping to retire the remainder of the debt from the Clinton campaign in 2008,” said Matthew Barzun, the Obama campaign’s national finance chairman, in a statement. “All of our Democratic allies are working together to help re-elect President Obama for another four years.”
It is not unusual for victors to help their former opponents pay down ……
Great information TD. How is everyone?!
A lesson here.Yes there is.
THE STORY OF THE LITTLE RED HEN, OBAMA STYLE…
“Who will help me plant my wheat?” asked the little red hen.
“Not I,” said the cow.
“Not I,” said the duck.
“Not I,” said the pig.
“Not I,” said the goose.
“Then I will do it by myself.” She planted her crop and the wheat grew and ripened.
“Who will help me reap my wheat?” asked the little red hen.
“Not I,” said the duck.
“Out of my classification,” said the pig.
“I’d lose my seniority,” said the cow.
“I’d lose my unemployment compensation,” said the goose.
“Then I will do it by myself,” said the little red hen, and so she did.
“Who will help me bake the bread?” asked the little red hen.
“That would be overtime for me,” said the cow.
“I’d lose my welfare benefits,” said the duck.
“I’m a dropout and never learned how,” said the pig.
“If I’m to be the only helper, that’s discrimination,” said the goose.
“Then I will do it by myself,” said the little red hen.
She baked five loaves and held them up for all of her neighbors to see.
They wanted some and, in fact, demanded a share but the little red hen said, “No, I shall eat all five loaves.”
“Excess profits!” cried the cow. (Nancy Pelosi)
“Capitalist leech!” screamed the duck. (Barbara Boxer)
“I demand equal rights!” yelled the goose. (Jesse Jackson)
The pig just grunted in disdain. (Harry Reid)
And they all painted ‘Unfair!’ picket signs and marched around and
around the little red hen, shouting obscenities.
Then the farmer (Obama) came He said to the little red hen, “You must not be so greedy.”
“But I earned the bread,” said the little red hen.
“Exactly,” said Barack the farmer. “That is what makes our free
enterprise system so wonderful. Anyone in the barnyard can earn as much as he wants.
But under our modern government regulations, the productive workers must divide the fruits of their labor with those who are lazy and idle.”
And they all lived happily ever after, including the little red hen, who smiled and clucked, “I am grateful, for now I truly understand.”
But her neighbors became quite disappointed in her. She never again baked bread because she joined the ‘party’ and got her bread free. And all the Democrats smiled. ‘Fairness’ had been established.
Individual initiative had died but nobody noticed; perhaps no one cared so long as there was free bread that ‘the rich’ were paying for.
