This reminds me of Cuba, when government photos of Fidel Castro are issued to reassure the people that he’s still alive.
Swimming in the Gulf...er...Alligator Bay
Even the New York Times understands the difference between journalism and propaganda:
But the photographers and reporters traveling with the president over the weekend were irritated to learn that they had been excluded from documenting Mr. Obama’s swim, which had become a politicized issue because of the BP oil spill. By choosing to go in the water, the president was making a symbolic gesture that the waters of the Gulf of Mexico were indeed safe for recreational use.
The White House press office’s use of Flickr photos as a substitute for photos taken by the press corps has become a sore subject among photographers assigned by their news organizations to cover the president. Photographers have complained that the White House too often distributes its own photos of presidential events while not allowing news photographers to attend.
To photographers, using a photo taken by the White House is akin to reprinting a news release, and many news organizations refuse to use such photos. The Associated Press did not distribute the photo of the president’s swim on Saturday. A spokesman for The A.P., Paul Colford, said that generally, the service “does not distribute a handout photo when we could just as easily have taken the image ourselves.”
That lying sack of crap usurper soebarkah and his daughter were not in the gulf waters at all. That’s why they didn’t have the press follow them. Instead, they went to somewhere else that had clean waters so they can fool the people into thinking it’s safe. Bo is a total criminal and must go ASAP! He is destroying our country and the people.

I’m guessing you’ve seen the passport of Obama published in Politico on Aug. 17 (http://www.politico.com/blogs/joshgerstein/0810/Dont_look_birthers_Obamas_passport_Page2.html#comments). The birthdate for Obama here appears to be Aug. 6, 1961. But this is different than the date we’ve been aware of (Aug. 4, 1961). This is a major discrepancy, and I hope you can investigate it.
Looks like a 4 to me. In any event, I don’t have the time for investigations these days….
It was so blurred I wasn’t sure of a 4 or a 6 either, but everything from Obama is a lie or a fraud, or a counterfeit, or totally pulled out of thin air that the odds are good it is the usual faked material. That group should get an A+ for creativity-I’m from Chicago-they took a two-bit South Side hood from the cesspool of corruption and made him into a fake potus. Chicago normally would be embarrassed but they are too far gone into corruption. Some day it will all be cleaned up, looking for another Eliot Ness, so far no luck.
He’s so fake he’s not even from the south side of Chicago. One reporter innocently asked him about his “team” (Chicago White Sox) and he was so flustered he couldn’t answer (no teleprompter around). Also, he did not grow up with the White Sox (maybe no baseball in Indonesia) and he probably was too busy attending Communist meetings to watch tv in Hawaii. Yet he has managed to over take my fair city of Chicago and pretend it is his city. I pray they do not rename Michigan Avenue or State Street (Obama Way). Yikes!!!
