Am I the only one who believes that Obama is more than happy to sacrifice Congressional majorities for the sake of his agenda, and probably even wants to lose seats in Nov. 2010? In fact, this was Barry’s plan all along, I believe.
He is using the current Congress to ram through as much radical legislation as possible before November, with two goals: 1) to set America on a long-term path away from free-market capitalism and towards socialism, i.e. substituting government for the private sector in key sectors such as health, education, energy, and finance; and 2) to strengthen his own prospects for extended power by setting himself up as the rational one against a backdrop of petty and unpopular people in Congress, which will no longer be dominated by Democrats. Obama will be the underdog heading into 2012, how convenient.
Caveat emptor, America. Those of us who were paying attention in 2007 and 2008, in lieu of falling for a seductive speaker and personality, tried to warn you, especially you moderate Democrats and Independents who carried him across the finish line. Obama’s socialist influences and tendencies have been apparent since birth; that he’s unabashedly acting on that philosophical foundation now as POTUS should come as no surprise. Next time, look at a candidate’s professional record and personal history before buying the sexy new flavor of Coca-Cola.
Be mad at Congress if you want, vote them all out! But let’s be clear: the Supaks of today are just pawns (or should I say prawns?) in Obama’s master plan for tomorrow. He intended to sacrifice these crustaceans all along.
We’re all playing brilliantly into Obama’s hand by focusing our outrage on Congress. To be sure, we are Obama’s laughingstock now. I suggest we stop feeding the shark.

I’m with you on this one, TD
The Changeling’s narcissism was apparent from the day he made that speech for
the dead monkey on a stickthen Senator Kerry when hemiserably lostvaliantly campaigned against Dubbya. If that wasn’t enough to convince anyone, the 3 months he spent as a Senator before throwing his hat into the ring to run for POTUS should have been enough.
But alas, the MSM and sheeple happily followed him on his path to a hollow victory.
A symbolic bill, by a symbolic shell of a Democratic party, for a symbolic President who puts praise before policy.
You’re so right, I agree with you, TD.
But, I think Obama will try to win in 2012,
thats why he will be wanting to legalize all
illegal aliens just for their votes as 99.9%
will vote Democrat. IF he wins, I think he
will want to take over the government by
eliminating the legislation, Congress, and
agencies who are against him and be the
dictator of the USA, just like Chavez and
Castro. That is a scarey thought!!
I wouldn’t say that he WANTS to lose Congress, or the next federal election, since he has restored funding to ACORN under another name for the organization, and according to WorldNetDaily there is a Secretaries of State Project by which Democrats are installed as Republicans. So I still think it is a good idea to at least take the chance to deprive him of power, if that can be done.
It won’t matter a bit who controls the future Congress or the White House until the American people take to heart the economic principle that you can’t spend significantly more than you earn. That economic principle is a currently unrecognized universal truth that is the nexus of what’s killing America. That principle is true for government, business and individuals.
Nothing is free… somebody always has to pay. Debt is just slavery without the chains. Despite the mortgage crisis and the Wall Street crisis and the GM/Chrysler crisis and the impending credit card crisis… we still keep crying for easy credit for entities who are not credit worthy. We still don’t get it.
Entitlement programs are good for society only to the extent that our capitalist economy can fund them, during boom and bust. That has not been the case for 30 years that I’m aware of. We haven’t required Washington to follow sound economic policies because we’ve been convinced that we don’t need to follow them in our personal lives. Our “progress” has taken us to within sight of an economic collapse.
Americans still haven’t felt nearly enough pain to understand that Washington won’t clean up its act until the American public cleans up theirs. Your average American needs to take personal responsibility for his/her own life before they can reliably expect to be represented in government by other citizens who share that same sense of responsibility.
The truth of how we arrived in our current predicament is painful and most people are still not ready to admit it. Our enlightened progressives will no doubt go to their graves pointing the finger of blame at anybody but themselves. There is no painless way out. Are we willing to elect representatives who lay out a difficult recovery path full of pain, responsibility and sacrifice for all Americans? Can we find enough candidates who can actually walk the walk?
Simply changing the names of the players won’t be enough.
It is certain, however, that losing Congress is not as important to him as ramming through as much of his agenda as he can.
keeping Congress
Hey TD!
I don’t plan on voting in this tyrannical states of america due to naturally the corruption inside the voting booth — electronic voting is a laugh and can be changed at the whim of the ‘administrator’ so says Carnegie Mellon.
I am preparing for the revolution that will happen either after the 2010 or 2012 elections (depending on how quick the American Citizen’s wake up).
What is eerily similar to the elections in Hawaii in 2004 is happening now in the rest of the states.
Leading up to the elections everyone from the left and right and all in between were screaming over the tax hikes, bogus laws, and increase in welfare payments. The whole state was livid at the government. Pols were showing that for the first time in Hawaiian statehood republicants would run the House of Reps and make a big dent in the Senate.
Well November 3rd came and the entire state was in shock…the democruds kept their super majority and even added to it in the House by eliminating 6 of the 10 republicant seats and did just as well in the Senate by reducing the ‘opposition’ by 50% (4 down to 2).
I feel and see that this will happen in 2010 and 2012 elections in the former United States of America due to the crooks we citizens kept putting back in office.
No…I will use November 3rd to prepare for the firestorm that should come…if not Montana doesn’t seem too bad nor does Texas to disappear.
I do totally agree with you. In fact, I wrote a post on my blog the other day based on the ideas that the democrats want to lose in 2010. I think it is so the Republicans will have to try to clean up everything. Then, the Democrats can blame them for the higher taxes and failure of the programs. They can use that as the way to campaign against them in 2012. They can say that they were voted out so that is the reason everything failed and now is the time to elect them so they can fix the problems.
I have never been able to understand why they are trying to pass so much so fast. If they had quietly over 4 years passed a bill here and there, it would not have garnered so much attention and a lot more would have passed without notice.
He does not care, he is on a destroy mission. The man was a stealth candidate to begin with. His goal is to weaken, bankrupt and tear down as much of America as he can. He is an angry black man who feels he has a lot of scores to settle.
Hello TD,
“We’re all playing brilliantly into Obama’s hand by focusing our outrage on Congress.”
Could it be that a master ‘community organizer’ through his perfected Alinsky techniques, is using of all us people to demoralize and disorganize the Congress and, may I add, the Judicial system (outrage to the lawsuit decisions) and ourselves only to empower the Executive to an even greater level (of agitator)?
From ‘Rules for Radicals’
http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communism/alinsky.htm
“The first step in community organization is community disorganization. The disruption of the present organization is the first step toward community organization. Present arrangements must be disorganized if they are to be displace by new patterns…. All change means disorganization of the old and organization of the new.” p.116
“An organizer must stir up dissatisfaction and discontent… He must create a mechanism that can drain off the underlying guilt for having accepted the previous situation for so long a time. Out of this mechanism, a new community organization arises….
“The job then is getting the people to move, to act, to participate; in short, to develop and harness the necessary power to effectively conflict with the prevailing patterns and change them. When those prominent in the status quo turn and label you an ‘agitator’ they are completely correct, for that is, in one word, your function—to agitate to the point of conflict.” p.117″
After all, BarackObama.com is Organizing for America.
I agree, starve the shark and feed the fish.
Great post, thought provoking!
Enough changeover though, Obama could be impeached or exposed as the illegal usurper fraud that he is.
TD,
As always, you present a very interesting scenario given the political realities of the times we live in. However, I believe the Congress and 0bama have awoken a sleeping giant. And that sleeping giant is our collective patriotism, which perhaps up to now might have been distracted by things like our families, material possessions, careers, life, etc. But a lot of people are beginning to pay attention now. Very close attention. And they are not happy with what they are seeing. And just wait until they have start paying significantly higher taxes for something that doesn’t even provide them a benefit for four or more years. Mad now? Just wait!
But I don’t see him winning in 2012 unless he can rig the election. But who knows? Maybe that’s the plan. I wouldn’t put it past him. But if not, I believe that the powers behind 0bama (Soros, Stern, et al) will find another charismatic candidate who will throw Barky under the bus to get elected. But I’m optimistic the country isn’t going to fall victim to the same scammers twice.
I can’t remember where I read this, but it rang so true (note that up until recently, I was a life long Democrat); “it’s SAFER to elect Republicans to Congress and the Presidency than it is to elect Democrats”. The reason? It’s because the MSM will actually do their job and vet the Republican candidate with the goal of tearing him/her down. Consequently, we will learn everything there is to know that’s negative about the Republican before the election. But like we saw in the last presidential election, the MSM will only say nice things about their candidate of choice before the election.
I’m happy to see you have your blog currently running TD. I’ve visited your blog many times over last couple of years and I’ve always found it to be quite relevant and on target. Keep fighting the good fight!
It should be a two fold strategy: get the Fraud declared ineligible by the DC Court and throw out the morons in Congress who aided and abetted him.
We have great difficulty facing the reality of what is now upon us.
We have a mysterious man, birthplace unknown, raised in Indonesia with a Muslim heritage, educated with a Marxist-socialist-communist-Alinsky world-view, who chewed the cud for twenty years in Jeremiah Wright’s “God Damn America” Chicago church, a friend to domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and the Weathermen who blew up buildings and killed people during the 60′s, and now this gentleman is smoking a cigarette in the Oval Office after shredding every sacred principle of the Founding Fathers and the U.S. Constitution last weekend.
He does not care about othe U.S. Consitution because he has loyalties elsewhere and he expresses no love/loyalty for the treasured principles of our Founding Fathers.
The Founding Fathers did everything they could to prevent a return to tyranny. Very clearly now, it is a battle between Barry and the likes of George Washinton, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.
When will someone on the National Political Scene press this man DAILY about his qualification to occupy the Oval Office as Commander-in-Chief?
“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President…”
Until this happens, we are swinging at shadows.
In the shadows, Barry smokes a cigarette, puts his feet upon the people’s desk, and smiles into the night as America loses altitude.
Allah is Great.
Best,
JFD
I think that, eventually, one of our conservative SCOTUS Justices will have an “accident”-so that Obama can , then, appoint a radical Liberal to take their place-giving him a Liberal majority to finish our Country off. They are going to let NOTHING stop them now that they have passed health care.
J. Finis Davis – no one will lead b/c they are all in on it.
Everyone, when are you going to wake up to the fact that this usurper is a finger away from the ‘red button’. Hello?
When are you going to realize that this man can declare martial law tonight, for no reason at all?
When are you going to accept that our freedom’s are gone and that we are living in tyranny AND moreover, dear leaders could give a rip about any of us!
I certainly don’t mean to be disrespectful folks, I just simply watch those that are awake how close we are to losing our homeland.
Are you even aware that we are at war in Africa now? Are you aware that we are readying to invade Iran? Do you understand that when we do, we are now in WWIII and it will be a nuclear war? We lost our rights on 911 and until all of us arrive at some understanding and agreement that this most tragic act may have been perpetrated by some in gov’t then we’re are never going to get back our freedoms. I don’t know about you but I’m not going to let some perv look at my body to fly on an airplane. Not going to happen. So how much more are we willing to lose when we know there is much that is wrong w/the official story regarding 911?
btw, TD, are you going to bring back your archives? You have a treasure trove there. Some of us would love to use it as a library as we cite various pieces of info.
Archives are a great benefit to all- in fact, one of the most attractive features about this site has been the regular production by contributors of hard data, references and solid analysis.
Comments are vaporous things that dissipate with the wind, but well-researched references are a foundation for further work, a means of helping mediate disputes, and a basis for convincing fence-sitters. The accumulation over at New Zeal has already become such a resource, and much of the material that appeared here a year or so ago would certainly be a worthwhile complement.
The Emperor invents his past as he goes along. And we thought John Gotti was the Teflon Don? Nothing in his past “sticks”. Even more alarming/perplexing is that our nation as a whole does not care about his past. I have always wondered where he managed to get the cash to purchase the drugs he claims he dabbled in as a youth. Didn’t his grandparents have very limited assests? Did BO ever work as a teenager? Where did he get his “walking around money”? These may seem banal queeries but I have always wanted to know the answers.
And who/where are his childhood friends? My Gramma always said tell me who your friends are and I’ll telll you who you are.
Such a secretive past–
If the country continues to be increasingly polarized by Obama and his supplicants in power, then I don’t think that future dystopian stories such as The Handmaiden’s Tale or V for Vendetta (when referring to events in the former United States) are too farfetched to actually occur.
Helen:
I know for a fact that Justice Clarence Thomas is not in on it. Keep him in your prayers.
