Scott Brown accomplished the impossible. He beat the BigDem machine in cobalt-blue Massachusetts. A stunning, historic victory.
Brown won without the help of ACORN, SEIU thuggery, Black Panther poll monitors, or other establishment props. He engineered and executed a brilliant populist campaign made up of old-fashioned “Fenway Park” handshaking, clever retorts, positive energy, and technological savvy. What a well-earned win.
Thank you, Massachusetts. Thank you, America.

TD,
Thank you so much. If you hand’t reopened the blog to let us sknow about Brown’s candidacy, I would have been left out of this historic, game-changing, miraculous loop. As it is, your advocacy led me to contribute to Brown’s campaign. You enabled me to help Scott Brown light a bonfire in the very dark, cold obamascape.
God bless America.
Love,
Mary
Tears in my eyes; my beautiful girl, beautiful voice, beautiful song.
Thank you Massachusetts!!!
TD…the results demonstrate that we need to keep going…your venue is so important…
I hope his acceptance speech was watched by most of America this evening. I think we might just be witnessing the emergence of a real star on the American political stage. If his service as U.S. Senator plays out like his campaign did, I wouldn’t be too surprised to see a Palin-Brown ticket in 2012.
This election was a real turning point. When the Democrats lose Massachusetts, so goes the rest of the country. But it is still going to be an uphill battle. I have no illusions about that. But for the first time in a long time, I feel like our voices are being heard. Finally!
Thank you TD,
You played no small part in this, your activism allowed many to engage from afar.
I am so glad you re-opened your blog. I am sorry I don’t post much, but I read / check in several times a day. I hope you keep this blog going.
ditto
MA thanks folks like you, TD.
TD
Thank you for alerting us all to this candidate! I am thanking God tonite for the election of Scott Brown, and I am glad we could all play a small part in his success due, in part, to your role as Paul Revere.
Are you really thankful for HIS GOP policies that will screw you even more??
Jeez, I wouldn’t vote for EITHER Dems or Repubs these days…certainly the Repubs haven’t screwed us in the past enough???
Then you will get the government you deserve!
This wouldn’t have happened, of course, had Hillary Clinton become President. Instead of wasting a year on a disastrously crafted health care bill, she would have concentrated on putting people back to work, eliminating Bush’s deficit, ending the recession and getting the economy back on track. Under her administration and with an improving economy, the people of Massachusetts would likely have been content to elect another Democrat to replace Ted Kennedy after he passed away. Another lost opportunity all because Pelosi and her gang of idiots in the Democratic leadership didn’t want Hillary to become the Democratic presidential candidate.
“The people of Massachusetts have spoken. We welcome Scott Brown to the Senate and will move to seat him as soon as the proper paperwork has been received,” said Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.
Note for Scott Brown, Senator Reid and co want the proper paperwork. What a shame they didn’t ask for the ‘PROPER PAPERWORK’ For Mr Obama.
Word.
TD,
Thanks for your work here for Scott, which gave us all the early warning about Scott’s campaign – otherwise we might not have paid attention early enough to help at a critical time.
Thanks to you, many of us were alerted early and were able to donate to his campaign and get our friends to donate, as well. Anything we gave was worth every single penny.
This supporting of strong worthy “back to basics” candidates really started something…that we all need to continue, wherever it is needed.
TD, thanks for coming back to us at this critical time. It is a very sweet moment and we should savor it. During 2008 we did not get to enjoy any glee, while we watched Hillary being demonized, intimidated, robbed of her rightful place by Obama thugs. We should savor today and the victory that is at hand. Your blog made a difference in getting the message out there about Scott Brown. I listened to him last night and he is right-on! Liberals voted him in en masse and broke party lines to send a loud and clear message to Washington. They no longer want a “one party system”, no more massive spending and secret/special deals for health care. I hope you will continue to stay with us for a while, but if your life situation doesn’t permit it, all best wishes to you and ALOHA, until we meet again!
That is an amazing video. Was the flyover part of the actual program? If so there, there must have been a huge crowd there. Look at all the people on the bridge.
Thank you TD for bring this race to light. Sometime you will have to tell us how you became aware of it.

Thanks TD!
For the first time in my life, I love Massachusetts!!! I wonder if Michelle is still proud of her country?
Keep Texas Darlin open!!!!

Ayla surely sings the National Anthem the way it was meant to be sung (and not like it is at many ball games where it’s terribly butchered)!!
Maybe she’ll sing it at the next inaguration?

Brown’s win is great – and I truly believe that Revenge of the PUMAS was a big factor. Hillary Clinton won MA by 15 points in the primary. In yesterday’s vote, Brown won about 20% of Democrats, and over 70% of the large group of Independents. I would love to see someone poll the Dems and Indies who voted Brown. I’ll bet you a significant number of them voted for HRC in that primary.
I agree
Congratulations America! Congratulations Massachusetts!
THANK YOU MASSACHUSETTS!!
TD,
Thank you for your most excellent coverage of this race, and for your participation in public, and behind the scenes making phone calls. You are, always have been, and will be, a true patriot, friend, and brilliant strategist.
My humble thanks to you for coming out of ‘retirement’ to post once again. I hope you stay.
No matter, I will always hold you in my heart as a shining light. And I hope I get to meet you someday!
With great affection and very best regards,
drkate
Thank you kate! Back atcha girl.
I read comment from someone from MA on PajamasMedia who said that he actually won by 10 %. ACORN and SEIU thugs stole 5% of his actual vote by cheating. I figured that much but happy they couldn’t cheat his total win. What egg on their stupid faces again.
Here’s how much obama learned from Brown’s election. On the day after he lost what was clarly a referendum on him and his o-zombie congress, obama said that people voted for Brown because they’re angry about the last 8 years.
1. They votrd for a Repub because they’re angry at a Repub. Pres? Really?
2. Does the moron understand that HE is the 8th of those 8 years?
Never accept responsibility for your mistakes, little precious. Leave that to us grownups, as in the MA election.
Still glad that you are back, keep forgetting to come here and I learned so much before you had to go away. I see you credited hillbuzz-they are such a hoot-from my home town Chicago-grew up in the suburbs. They are right in the neighborhood of Obama’s cesspool of corruption South Side of Chicago, so they are able to pick-up a lot of street talk.
I am hoping more folks like Scott decide to run for office and the best part he is beholden to no one. I think he took it the day he said It is the People’s Seat.
The Democratic leadership should have stuck with Hillary.
Last night I saw Donna Brazile in a group panel on CNN and you will remember she was the one who told all of the Hillary Democrats in 2008 that we were not needed and we could go elsewhere, that they were forming a “new” democratic party where we were not welcome/needed. She thought democrats would never vote republican so in her words “where else could they go?”. Well, Ms. Brazile, liberal democrats in MA did vote republican!!! They threw your Obamacare into Boston Harbor and will watch while it sinks! But she was not daunted. She continued to believe that they will still push the bill forward (some of these Obots are so arrogant) and did not take MA as any kind of message that she could figure out.
you are brave to watch her.
Donna Brazille can’t think. She is so wrapped up in her own little world that thinking is not allowed or given time.
American Thinker has a blog entry today which discusses the government employees’ unions. A part of each government employee’s paycheck (your tax dollars) is automatically deducted and put into union coffers.
The government payroll is growing and thus more of our money is sent to candidates that we may not want to support. The government employee’s influence and benefits can grow without any market forces to check the growth.
Obama will do anything for the SEIU and even included an SEIU representative in a conference call discussing downsizing government in California with Schwarzenegger, an unprecedented move.
This use of taxpayer money needs to be shut down.
I haven’t posted much but stopped by often. I echo others sentiments here who hope you’ll keep the blog going. We need you.
Thanks for all you and your posters did to help with Scott’s resounding win!
Cheers!
Love this guy! Telling it like it is.
Thank you mister…I do not know who you are or from whence you came…but you are welcome sight.
Omg, you are back online!!!
Great to see you all back again, you have been sorely missed. I only posted once, but I used to read your blog often.
Thank you for taking your valuable time to help out America, TD.
Mr.Brown goes to Washington…sweet
TD Friends: If you have time, please enjoy this spoof from Mitt Romney’s web-site. If Mitt wrote it himself, he has quite a sense of humor. He has captured so much of how many of us feel about the Chosen One. Enjoy!
http://mittromneycentral.com/2010/01/21/the-year-of-our-obama/
Thanks for the link Susan. We are not an official Romney site, rather a fan-based site hoping to promote Romney for President in 2012. The author of that post uses the name VoxPatriota. He’s just a regular joe like you and I.
I personally liked the post a lot myself. As you said he does capture the sentiment that you and I have in a rather eloquent and snarky way.
TD,
Welcome back (at least for a time). I feel like I am home again as I started following the blogs here first. Hopefully, you’ll stick around for awhile but understand clearly that life’s pressures may take you away again.
Also, I applaud your political instincts; you were first in identifying Obama’s ineligibility to be POTUS as well as one of the first to identify Scott Brown as the real deal and took action on both.
You are a true patriot and my hat tips to you!
It occurred to me today that Brown broke obama’s monopoly on power. He proved that obama and his congressional o-zombies–and the shadowy fixers behind him and them–are not invulnerable.
And success breeds success. More Brown’ will follow. All this is the real significance of Brown’s win.
Was it Brown? or was it the Indies in Massachusetts?
Hard call, but more and more I think it was the latter.
“The Changeling” has been losing the Independent voters nationwide since he scammed his way into the White House.
This administration did its best to minimize the first shots across the bough in New Jersey and Virginia, writing them off as the ravings of “bitter, working class racists” and went on to wage war against the working class.
Although that may have washed with many, a Republican taking the revered
heavenly throneSenate seat of (bow your head) Saint Ted of Chappaquiddick Island was a clear message that the What House and Dems are still trying to deny understanding.Their rebuttal: Keep the $2000 suit on, take the tie off, and pretend that you care about the working class, all the while screwing them even more (Bernanke)
I’ve had enough. You?
I have missed you, TD. Hope to hear more from you!!
What a great accomplishment for all involved. I’ve noticed the ‘teabagger’ comments are diminishing from the lefts talking points, and they are now acting as though they respect the tea party movement. Too little, too late certainly applies here.
Hmmm…. in moderation…
Unfortunately, here in Illinois Obama’s former Senate seat (now occupied by Roland Burris) will more than likely go to Alexi Giannoulias, a good buddy of Obama and also another very corrupt machine candidate. Obama has wanted Alexi to be the candidate from day one and somehow managed to taint Jesse Jackson Jr. and others to ensure Alexi was given the nomination. The Giannoulias family is tied to Broadway Bank where there are multiple scandals and they are definitely Daley machine “mob” type people. If anyone is interested, you can go to HillBuzz’s web-site and see the articles he has written recently regarding the Illinois senate race and the Giannoulias family in particular. I am again disgusted because this senate race is like the Obama election in 2008, there is no way to buck the system in Illinois and another corrupt Senator and Obama rubber-stamp will make his way to Washington.
But I thought Obama was against those mean, nasty fat-cat bankers? Isn’t Alexi from a long line of said fat-cats? Hmmm, interesting indeed.
How sweet it is!!!
td, this one’s for TX. http://jbjd.wordpress.com/2010/01/26/remember-the-alamo/
TD, welcome back, I so missed your blog and missed it for so many months! Yeah MA – thank you! I now sleep at night and have HOPE once again that we can CHANGE what is sitting in DC — I live in CA and will do everything I can to unseat our embarrassment, “don’t call me ma’am” Boxer!
It’s February 2nd and Scott still hasn’t been sworn in…WHY?
