Perhaps Massachusetts residents would be less passionate about kicking the Democrats out of THE PEOPLE’S SEAT if the Obama-Pelosi-Reid approach to “reform” were more inclusive, more transparent, and more mindful of the PEOPLE’S PRIORITIES.
Let them try this, just let them try. Then they will really see what it means to lose the PEOPLE’S SEATS….
After holding a days-long, closed-door meeting with leading House and Senate Democrats and union lobbyists to hammer out a new compromise ObamaCare bill, Barack Obama may abandon it and demand that the House acquiesce to the Senate:
A panicky White House and Democratic allies scrambled Sunday for a plan to salvage their hard-fought health care package in case a Republican wins Tuesday’s Senate race in Massachusetts, which would enable the GOP to block further Senate action.
The likeliest scenario would require persuading House Democrats to accept a bill the Senate passed last month, despite their objections to several parts.
That’s Morrissey at Hot Air quoting the A.P.

Pray and light your candel’s so Scott Brown wins this election.
You go Scott Brown, Make Mass proud they voted for you.
(H/T) to That’s Me on the Left … this is how Ed Schultz thinks the Dems should win in Massachusetts.
There probably wasn’t any outrage over his remark because “who listens to Ed Schultz anyway?”
Actually the Senate bill has even more blatantly unconstitutional parts and general stupidity than the House version (caveat: as much as we know about either). It will cause as much revulsion as any new bill and already has challenges against it. The House needs a good excuse to drop the whole thing–all Pelosi’s zombie minions are out looking for something shiny–she is going to protect herself and her “power” that she loves so much before she protects a bill that will seriously damage it.
I’m pretty sure that the White House doesn’t have enough juice to force Nancy Pelosi to do a damn thing.
The White House has spent the past year living off of Pelosi’s political capital… and to a lesser extent Harry Reid’s. The sheer desperation exhibited by Reid’s outrageous cash-for-votes tactics are a good indication that Harry’s capital is pretty much tapped out. Does anybody really believe that Reid or Pelosi are going to bleed out for Obama? What about all the other Dems who are finally beginning to recognize the severity of the voter backlash they’re facing? If Scott Brown wins tomorrow the Dems will be looking for a route to survival… and ObamaCare will become something less than a priority. We’ll find out who’s really running DC.
SOMEBODY is going to have to finally take the blame and pay the price for failure. Blaming the Republicans, Palin, tea baggers, birthers, etc. has become a failed tactic. The Obama/Chicago Dems are the new kids in town. If the congressional Dems do go into cockroach survival mode the new kids may be left to hold the bag. Failure is going to have to be hung on somebody. Those Chicago guys are, after all, just transients.
seems to me the best solution for anyone in the house would be to NOT vote for this health care bill.
I believe at this point, in light of all the strong arming and baloney of the Resident, Pelosi, etc, the people of this country would greatly respect the legislators if they killed this bill and maybe started over.
That might even be enough for voters to give them another chance in Nov.
I doubt any legislators will have a stir of conscience about it, but actually representing the people would reward them more in the long run.
Sounds to me like obama is on the verge of committing anarchy, which should go a long way toward finishing him off.
not “comitting,” but “engaging in” anachy.
Dperate people do stupid things, stupid desperate people even moreso. And one of the things I’ve repeated at TD often is that, havIng been a teacher for 37 years, I know “smart,” and obama isn’t.
Also, I’m guessIng that the NWO power monsters who put obama into office are coming cloe to cutting the loser loose.
Mary, I ‘m not looking forward to what they have in mind after him. I’m glad more of USA is waking up to things, but I feel we are still trying to play catch up, now that I see their plan has been in the works a long time.
I’m keeping the faith though in the majority of the USA people to fight the good fight : )
Consider Obama and Reagan for a moment. Reagan promised change and specifically outlined his plans when he ran for office. Obama promised change and did not outline his plans during the campaign.
Reagan was successful in changing America and was a fairly popular president because he communicated substance. Obama seems headed to failure because he never communicates substance.
Obama says whatever he thinks will help him at the moment. He counts on a sympathetic press to keep the questions away, much like a Sultan employed slaves to keep the flies at a distance.
You can fool some of the people some of the time but never all of the people all of the time…this is the lesson Obama has not learned.
