Coakley claims there are no terrorists in Afghanistan anymore. Tell that to the CIA families.
Ed Morrissey at Hot Air makes the Gerald Ford analogy:
In the 1976 presidential campaign, Gerald Ford lost whatever chance he had for victory by asserting that Poland wasn’t under the direction of the Soviet Union, making him look detached from reality and throwing the election to Jimmy Carter. Hopefully, the voters of Massachusetts will make the same determination about Coakley in the aftermath of this debate and send someone much wiser than Carter or Coakley to Washington.

I’ve had to stop having conversations with some family members for this reason:
They hear the facts, but don’t accept them. They seem to think if they speak what they want to be true, that that somehow makes it true.
Martha, showed that in this comment and the mediator of the debate showed that in his comment about “Ted Kennedy’s seat”.
Fortunately Scott stated the fact it’s not the Kennedy’s seat……..but I suppose even today Martha and the mediator are still not accepting the facts.
TD: glad you are back, I kept checking while you were gone. I know you mentioned you cannot stay, life things going on, and I certainly understand, but I appreciate your making time for this effort-for our country.
Thank you TD, glad to see you back, if only for a moment…
Look at Scott Brown’s reactions. He is totally incredulous at Coakley’s claims.
‘They seem to think if they speak what they want to be true, that that somehow makes it true’.
That’s exactly why liberalism is referred to by some as a mental disorder!
Thank you TD for keeping us updated on this very important special election. It is great to be able to go to one place and find all the relevant information on the election.
You are generous to give us your time to bring this website back up. I have missed you. I only hope that you are doing well in your new location wherever that may be.
