Of course the ObaMedia didn’t touch it, but a few foreign press did. Here’s a soundbite from UK:

The moment I saw that image of the Obama family in their black-and-blood red costumes, another image lept to mind. But I want to hear what you think.

At this point, Supreme Court Justice David Souter’s Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond.
If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship.
“I can see a unanimous Court (en banc) decertifying the election if Obama refuses to produce his birth certificate,” says Raymond S. Kraft, an attorney and writer. “They cannot do otherwise without abandoning all credibility as guardians of the Constitution. Even the most liberal justices, however loathe they may to do this, still consider themselves guardians of the Constitution. The Court is very jealous of its power – even over presidents, even over presidents-elect.”

Well when I saw this photo the first thing that came to mind is that the simple dress of the Obama family has gone high class, and just another flipflop when all is said and done. They present themselves one way for the voting public, and then dress themselves up after the vote. Oh my what a radical change; Obama don’t fool me for a New York second as this is a dangerous man who was elected to high office. Stay tuned as my many years in life, has given me the opportunity of knowing the past Royal Family of Indonesia. First, its just shocking to see as an inauguration dress, but my first thought was black widow, then ‘fire in the belly’, then a gunshot wound to the abdomen. I understand there’s some kind of imagery of a marxist or other radical group with similar markings or colors. How terrible to put a black dress on a 7 year old child. An article on israelinsider completely fascinated me. It deals with Obama’s possible connection to Malcolm X—totally mind boogling! In the article the author, Reuven Koret, discussed the theory that Obama has been financed by Saudi and Syrian financiers. Look at the Syrian flag! It is red and black. The only thing missing are the two green stars and MB probably had that on her underware.

Ayers was first caught with it on his clothing while OReilly had sent out a reporter to ask him if he was repentant.
Then the new signs and banners showed up with the black O and red star inside it.
I too have not watched news. I trust no one anymore for information. Media makes me puke.
I hear she got it at Neiman’s and made sure it cost $1 more than anything Palin’s aide bought.

The decision was handed down today – it is a long and well-reasoned analysis.

Today’s decision is not the result of a conspiracy, nor is it the result of a biased or unprincipled judge. I have made a good living working in out nations courts and have the utmost respect for them. I would hope all patriotic Americans would feel the same way and avoid making unfounded scurrilous remarks about the judge or the judicial system.

Now, the decision.
There are two parts – first the response on the State’s argument that the Board of Elections is not responsible for vetting candidates for president, second the issues we raised regarding Mr. Obama’s citizenship.
The Court makes other holdings and findings that I won’t bother you with here. Needless to say, the decision is wholly against us. The court finds the claims against Mr. Obama’s citizenship “wholly unpersuasive and bordering on the frivolous, especially in light of the complete absence of any first-hand evidence on any critical issue” and further classifies it as “conspiracy theory of the lowest sort, fueled by nothing than internet rumor and those who truly want to believe egging each other on.”
The decision is VERY lengthy, and I have only included a small part, but the SCOTUS will, I am sure, concur.
We have a new President-elect.

Now what we have left to do is contact our state’s Electors and tell them to make him prove citizenship. This is their job and are sworn to uphold the constitution.
In some states it’s the Secretary of State that verifies candidates and in others it’s the Electors. It’s easy to find out, just Google your Sec of State and ask.
We have until Dec 15. On that day the Electors either verify or deny a candidate. All the law suits have failed because this was the wrong legal path for citizens. I wish at least one had worked though.
Lets pound these key boards and get EVERYONE to swamp the Electors to do the right thing!!!

I forgot to mention in case you want to say this in your letters to the Electors or Sec of State.
The Nationality Act of 1940 states that if a US citizen marries a foriegner and then resides in another country, they expatriate their citizenship. His mother married Lolo Soetoro and Fraud Boy’s name was Barry Soetoro. He was an Indonesian citizen because of this law. There is no record of either he or his mother swearing an Oath of Allegiance to return to this country as citizens. Indonesia was at war in the mid 60’s when they went there. You had to be a citizen to live there or attend school. Since he traveled to Pakistan at the age of 20 using an Indonesian passport, I have to believe he was a citizen of Indonesia. They don’t just pass those out with the nuts on the plane!
This fraud has to be brought down!

I, too, have spent a lot of time in courts here and there and my footnote (or is a caveat, not quite sure) is that the court’s decision speaks for itself. And, ooh la la, since the courts are made up of humans, they can disagree. How many times have we seen a federal court (presumed, rightly or wrongly, to have particularly perspicuous powdered wigs on their benches) and a circuit court agree four-square, only to have the Supremes say, nah, wrong. All interpreting the same clause of the Constitution.
So, I say, don’t judge what the judges are judging until it is judged. I don’t whip my life, or my opinion, in a 180 spin because somebody I never heard of on a VA state court bench makes a proclamation, no matter how LONG the opinion might be.
There is a process. I prefer to let it play itself out. So far, the conclusion with which we are left is that anyone can run for President of the United States who feels the inclination, since (a) no one has standing to complain and, (b) according to this opinion (as reported, reserving my opinion until I’ve read it) there is no requirement that you satisfy any qualification for the office before offering for the office. Okay, a little bizarre. The usual rule of construction is that language is not in a statute for no reason — that it was, rather, including for a purpose — so we should set about deciding what was that purpose. I would think that the same or similar rule would apply to the Constitution of our nation, considering the trouble they went to to draft the darn thing.
But, either way, the process will, no doubt, play itself out as it should, regardless of your admonition to accept the VA state court as the final arbiter of the qualification of a candidate for the highest office of the land. As always, I suggest we just wait and see. If you look hard enough, you can usually find an honest judge. Or, the case has no merit, which that honest will also tell us, if she’s so inclined.

The question posed about Michelle Obama’s dress, represents us all, as our appointed leaders. The fact that Michelle had chosen a Cuban designer, just reflects the values and principles for which reflect once again how Obama’s character effects us all for better or worse!
Just what does Obama really stand for? Red and Black, no red, white and blue. That should have been obvious to everyone and not a single comment.
Surely, as Commander-in-Chief, this reflects upon the people of the United States of America, having been broadcast in the Media and throughout the entire world our image as a people, of our appointed leaders.
To suggest, there are other greater issues to be dealt with, is annoying the fact, that the Obama Administration will be responsible for most of the changes we are going experience ahead. Being the highest appointed position of our government.
Shouldn’t everyone be asking themselves, what “changes” does the Obama Administration going to effect you, your income, your security, your country and of our relationships with the rest of the world?
Change for the sake of change is stupidity at best. Change for the better is what everyone wants, but just who among us, actually understands just what the Obama administration actually stands for, represents and stands with, for and about?
All evidence, set aside, leaves us with many doubts in the matter. Which is no reason to simply trust someone claiming ideas we all want to hear, to win our votes. Whatever the people of this great nation think or feel, we as a nation will be held accountable in the end.
While our U.S. economy is in danger, we are looking for real leadership values, experience and wisdom in our new Commander-in-Chief Obama now.
In fact, the whole world is watching, to see what is going to happen next. Mostly in how Obama’s administration will act overall in our favor or another.
The right to inform about illegal behavior is a right that belongs to every citizen, a right accorded by the United States Constitution.
If yet, when “we as people” would rather become complicit, instead of speaking up, by taking a stand, against everything wrong, what should we expect to happen next?
At what point, does does it become too late? Just wait and see, let’s hope and pray, leaving everything to blind faith?
Is that they type of leadership, “we the people” need and want as our Commander-in-Chief to preside over us? Simply “obey” Obama, now, just because?
Surely, trust is earned, right?
Why can’t Obama come clean with us about his birth certificate and be honest with us “the people”?
Shouldn’t government be of the people, for the people, serving the people, first and foremost? Or do the people prefer instead, to be serving the government, the other way around?
I would suggest, whatever the people do decided upon, that they had better understand, whomever you appoint, back and support, that the people pick, vote, chose and appoint success first and foremost above all else, rather than anything less to be of failure, color, race and or gender issues.
Our very future is at stake, our principles, our values, our way of living, working and stake. There shouldn’t be the idle of indecision, of doubts, and apprehensions when it comes to our leadership of a people with self-determination.

Incredible to think that people will spend the entire Obama presidency looking for (and finding) hidden fascist/communist/socialist/totalitarian/anarchist/terrorist messages in everything from dress clothes to choice of pets.
Many of you were wrong that Hillary Clinton was going to win the primary; many of you were wrong when you said that Obama had no chance of winning the general election; please be open to the possible that, given your poor track record on reasonable questions, you could be wrong on your outlandish questions. Conspiracy theories make sense in a vacuum if you convince yourself of them, but they are not legitimate and valid when exposed to truth and reasonable inquiry.
I know it’s disappointing your candidate(s) (Clinton and/or McCain) lost, but at least take comfort in knowing that Obama is not a Manchurian candidate bent on destroying America, and he’ll prove that to you over the course of his presidency.

The point of the post was to explore theories about the symbolism of the Obamas’ outfits. It was not intended to launch sexist commentary about Michelle Obama.
But again, I moderate to the best of my abilities and can’t control what everyone else says. If it gets to the point where that’s how my time is spent on this blog, I’ll just do away with comments altogether. It’s not going to work if I have to constantly micro-manage. I just won’t.
I just wanted to point out that it is just an additional irony that the dress looks like the markings found on a black widow spider.
I have actually taken a close up picture of a black widow spider because I find the design so fascinating. (be careful, I think their bite can be lethal to humans).

Let me be very direct with a related issue. Muslims the world over are CELEBRATING the vote for Obama. It doesn’t matter if I think Obama is a Muslim or not. It doesn’t even matter if he really is or not. All that matters is that millions (nay, hundreds of millions) of people intent on our destruction are thrilled. I don’t have to be paranoid and speculate on what it all means. It is enough to know that SOMEBODY out there thinks that a message was sent to them. That diminishes us.
Being the president carries great responsibility. One of those responsibilites is to be incredibly conscious of the symbolism of all that they do. So even if this wasn’t planned (yeah, fat chance) – this was a faux pax of incredible proportions and incredible naivete. A president sending such signals of cluelessness is EXTREMELY dangerous.
Somebody recently said somewhere else that Obama just greenlighted Iran to attack Israel. Of course he didn’t say that. Not even close. But Americans may be too stupid or too jaded to understand these “symbology” things. Yet there is at least half the world out there who are VERY tuned to such things. This is not good right now, and bodes very ill for the future.
In these perilous times, anything other than traditional true blue patriotism will be read as weakness abroad. Symbolism to your friends, your neighborhood, your gang, etc. can not be tolerated on the national stage – if it interferes or countermands important national symbolism. That is why all the fuss over flag saluting, flag pins, national anthem, pledge of allegiance, is SO critically important.

Two were reasonably dressed, O and Malia. Two were looking pretty bizarre, MO and Natasha, who looks like Victorian mourning. Aside from the red and black, don’t think MO’s blackwidow outfit is reminiscent of the WU logo. That would have some kind of draped neck, black zigzag belt, and be mostly red. This looks like two of the anarchy flags sewn together point to point, or the hidden point of Bill Ayer’s star unfolded. It could just be a terrible designer–surely the same motifs could be made into a better looking dress.

Hmm…I sell ladies clothes for a living and I would
be embarrassed to have sold her this dress. It
looks hideous on her, sorry but it does.
The cardigan adds to the confusion and the
whole getup takes away from the occasion.
All the stuf going on in the midsection makes
her look huge. It adds weight!
Someone one in a chatroom said that they thought she
looked like the flag of the nation of Islam (black
and red are the colors). I also heard someone call her
a black widow spider. I tend to agree. To me they
sure do symbloize what we have seen from the two
of these people, a love for all things radical and a
sense of control and revege.
I always tell my clients that clothes area supposed
to be like makeup for the body. They should make
us look better than we are! Not in this case. I read
in some of the comments that she dropped quite
a chunk of change on the jewelry. Considering that
this dress is rumored to be J Crew, which are nice
clothes but not anywhere near that price range;I
find it very , very strange. The dress is what she should
have invested her money in, as that is what people
see the most of, making the biggest statement. I don’t
even see the pricey earrings! What can we say? To
be quite honest, she looks unappropriate for the
occassion. Once again, sorry. She needs help. I see her as being one who likes
to take orders, so I would expect she will be dressing
herself and giving us a lot more to criticize. Wasn’t it

It would seem we are straining for theories about the dresses. Perhaps it was just a fun thing to do. Children have been wearing black since the early sixties, but usually with a white collar; that would have been a nice touch to go with Daddy’s shirt. Black, red and white–I had a bedroom in those colors, and I am a wild eyed liberal. As for M’s dress–very unflattering. Everything about this gentleman and his campaigns is staged, but I don’t think there are too many hidden meanings.

Truthfully, I don’t think the designs are anything but poor taste–and not due to intention but simply because it was the colors that were important, and that left them few choices in the time available after they decided to make this statement. The colors are very likely to be intentional–but the specific dress designs weren’t.
Just like the hijackers did not care how orderly the towers fell–just that they managed to hit them with huge planes.
To clarify: Their eagerness to use these exact colors–red and black–forced them to pay less attention to esthetics.

I’ve been thinking about his whole fiasco for a few days now and a lot of things just DO NOT make sense regarding Obama’s free pass on everything and McCain’s previous reluctance to go for Obama’s jugular.
McCain is noted for his fiery temper and his passivity on a lot of issues is food for thought.
IMO there is a dirty little secret in the government’s branches of the CIA, FBI and DOJ which prevents Obama from being touched. Maybe Obama has threatened them with exposure about something that would create an international incident of extreme proportions and embarrasment? I’m sure the DNC with their inside people had more info than is allowed.
