Update 3: 10/15/08 2:40 PM ET: Until API publishes the audio of Michelle Obama’s conversation, which they say they have, I am assuming the report is false. If they have the tape, they need to post it immediately, or lose credibility.
However — whether or not this conversation with Michelle Obama occurred — we maintain that Obama was adopted, acquired Indonesian citizenship, and may still have Indonesian citizenship. We agree with Berg’s assertion that Obama is either naturalized or illegal. We have documented our theories extensively on this blog. And we stand by them.

According to African Press International, Michelle Obama called API to complain about the reports by bloggers that challenge her husband’s eligibility…
“….I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.”
Those who have followed this blog know that we have asserted that Barack Obama may still have Indonesian citizenship. It is probable that he is either a naturalized US citizen, or illegal — as Philip Berg has claimed.
Michelle said, according to API:
My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father.
Well, first of all, we’re not racist. And secondly, YES, there is a law. There are actually several laws.
If Obama was adopted by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro, as we’ve theorized on this blog, then he became an Indonesian citizen, and most likely forfeited, putting the status of his US citizenship in question. Also, unless he formally renounced his Indonesian citizenship by the age of 21, he would STILL BE Indonesian. (See Berg’s filings for a legal explanation of these issues).
Not only does it appear that Obama has dual citizenship, which in and of itself if constitutionally problematic for a President — It’s now a serious inquiry as to whether Barack Obama is a legal natural-born US citizen. (Again, see Berg’s motions).

Sorry, TD, this is crap. What is this website anyway? And while I can’t stand either of the Obamas, I honestly don’t believe Michelle is so stupid as to call about this. There are so many websites saying this stuff, why would she choose this one for a phone interview? That’s just crazy. if API has a recording of her comments (which seems probable since they quote her extensively), then it may be difficult for her to refute this.
But, if it’s just a distraction, it could be a rumor caused for the purpose of being denied.
Of course it should still be verified! or people will burst with excitement.
If it’s true that a Democratic superdelegate went to Indonesia and bought up all the documentation, one would hope the Republicans either did the same thing before or after that trip, or are somehow independently able to prove it. I would like to see Obama taken out fairly and quickly if he misrepresented his past. Obama nation would cry foul but you don’t mess with the constitution and it’s an act of treason.

Averting a Crisis in Confidence; Citizen files Lawsuit Against Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed demanding verification of Barack Obama’s citizenship status.
Seattle WA. 10/9/2008 — Steven Marquis, a resident of Fall City WA today filed suit in Washington State Superior Court against Secretary of State Sam Reed demanding verification of Barack Obama’s citizenship status.
The complaint seeks specifically that the office of the Washington Secretary of State verify and certify that Mr. Obama is or is not a “natural born” citizen by producing original or certified verifiable official documents. The lawsuit argues that this certification should take place before the election to preclude a constitutional crisis and likely civil unrest should such certification, after the election, prove that Mr. Obama was not qualified for office.
The Complaint argues that the Secretary of State has the authority and duty to not only certify the voters but also and most importantly the candidates and in so doing prevent the wholesale disenfranchisement of voters who would had had an opportunity to choose from qualified candidates had the certification preceded the election process.
At this point, Mr. Obama has not allowed independent or official access to his birth records nor supporting hospital records. The Hawaii Health Department has violated Federal law by ignored formal Freedom of Information requests for the same. Do to the facts and numerous other allegations that would challenge Mr. Obama’s fundamental qualifications for office, a Federal lawsuit was filed and is currently being heard in District Court, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Obama failed to respond to the District Court’s request to produce or allow access to the official documents (should they exist) and instead filed a motion to dismiss arguing the Plaintiff had no “standing” or right to know. This non-response as of 9/24/2008 in Federal court casts doubt on the veracity of the electoral system and is the principal reason for this lawsuit. The late entry of this suit is due in principal part to Mr. Obama’s delay and subsequent non response to reasonable request for valid certificates. Multiple requests for early certification to the Office of the Secretary of State has been rejected.
The Washington Secretary of State Office is specifically charged with certifying and guaranteeing the veracity of official documents and overseeing the elections to wit the people’s confidence in the fundamental aspect of democracy is maintained. To date, in this regard, Secretary of State Sam Reed has not carried out that fundamental duty.
This lawsuit demands injunctive relief directing Sam Reed, Secretary of State, carry out the duty of his office in this regard answering the formal complaints for verification of Mr. Obama and any other candidate appearing on the ballots issues through his office for which formal complaints have been received.

If they could release an audio of the phone conversation that would be considered the real deal. And so what if they “forgot” to tell her it was recorded. In my state, only one party needs to know of a recorded phone conversation. Guess it depends on the state where the recording was made (IF there’s a recording.
Furthermore, IF there’s a recording and IF it’s put out on the ‘net, they (the O’s) can cry foul all they want but they can’t do anything about it. Let’s look at this thing twice, shall we?
* First, the article claims that Michelle Obama called them. Now, I know NOTHING about the credentials or reputation of the African Press International Web site, but I can read the somewhat disjointed writing style and DO know that with just three weeks to go in the election, Michelle Obama is on an extremely tight leash. Every single second of her interaction with the media–any sort of media–is under the most strict of scrutiny by her husband’s handlers. Somehow, I doubt she’d take it upon herself to call Katie Couric, nonetheless African Press International.
* Second, the style of the quotes attributed to Mrs. Obama seems identical to the writing style of the surrounding prose. Michelle Obama can certainly turn a phrase and, while she may not be able to spit out the soaring rhetoric that her husband can, she is certainly better spoken than what is written on the African Press International Web site.
* Finally, the content of the quotes attributed to Mrs. Obama seemed a little much at this point in the election, even for the woman who has a history of keeping her mouth open for a little too long. I cannot for the life of me imagine that she would say the words “American white racists” to anybody who could possibly publish such words with her husband so close to taking the presidency.
Listen, this Berg suit is extremely interesting and should he prevail, the consequences would be incomprehensible. I understand the enthusiasm. This whole thing, however, just doesn’t sit right with me — and we need to be careful to not jump blindly into believing something that just doesn’t add up. Perpetuating this sort of nonsense, provided that’s what it turns out to be, only hurts the credibility of those like Jerome Corsi and Philip Berg.
I know I risk a lot by coming out on a limb and expressing my skepticism toward this latest claim, but I just cannot believe that it is authentic. If I am wrong on this–and I hope I am, I hope that Michelle did just indeed infinitely strengthen Philip Berg’s case–I will gladly own up to it, but it just doesn’t sit right with me.

How would Obama lose his US citizenship through adoption? What law says that he loses his citizenship if he is adopted by a non-US resident? If that’s the case, does that mean all US children who have been adopted by a foreign parent have lost their US citizenship?

QUESTION – would Mrs. Obama be so stupid to telephone API and make such a comment – I don’t think so.
If the API account of Mrs. Obama’s call is correct, it would seem:
The call was perhaps a preemptive move in face of increasing reports/revelations that: while Obama may have been born in Hawaii (that confirmation pending affirmation of the original birth certificate), he subsequently became a citizen of another country through his step-father.
API quotes Mrs. Obama as saying, “…The important thing is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell American people that my husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love of this country…”
A reasonable interpretation of these remarks is that Mrs. Obama is saying that the most “important thing” is where her husband’s heart is – never mind that he may not be an American citizen.
She says her husband “loves this country”, that his adoption “never changed” that love – a reasonable interpretation of her words is that she is saying that perhaps the adoption changed the status of her husband’s U. S. citizenship, but “the important thing” is where his “heart is.”
It seems to me this is about as close as Mrs. Obama can get to affirming that there are, to put it as an understatement, some legitimate questions about the status of Sen. Obama’s U. S. citizenship.
The call from Mrs. Obama, as quoted by API, is permeated with references to “white racism” as the main cause of all the “unrest on the blogs” in regard to her husband’s citizenship.
Again, she assuredly speaks of where her husband’s heart is and that he “loves this country.” If it just weren’t for that “white racism,” she indicates, none of this would have come up.
It is remarkable that the wife of a Presidential contender in the final three weeks of a campaign would out-of-the-blue telephone an international press service. Surely she knew this would be reported on its site.
Sen. and Mrs. Obama have many admirable qualities. No one could, in fairness, deny this. But there are some other factors in regard to Sen. Obama’s “heart” and his “love for this country.”
The first is that if Sen. Obama years ago legally lost his U. S. citizenship and reasonablywould have known of this – how could he possibly have justified all his public office activities over the years subsequent to the present?
This would be sheer, unadulterated deceit of the highest order.
Sen. Obama may have a great heart and much love for this country, but he expresses this strangely through working unceasingly as a Senator to bring defeat to the American and Allied forces fighting terrorists in the Middle East and bringing stability to that region.
His ambition would seem here to have placed love of country on the back burner; and provided hope to our most murderous enemies.
Sitting uncomplainingly in a church for 20 years while his minister berated, villified, and cursed America and all it stands for is a very strange expression of a feeling heart and of love of America.
Sen. Obama may have allowed ambition to render his feeling heart inoperative. That is surely unfortunate for everyone.

It may be that Mrs. Obama has been kept from speaking her mind on certain issues and felt she needed to unload. Probably thought that anything labeled “African Press International” would be sympathetic. Oh, boy!
Looks like the API news is being reported on World Net Daily, although they are concentrating primarily on Michelle’s comments about Dr. Corsi and his detention in Kenya.

Correct me if I’m wrong with the following line of thought, but what I don’t quite understand is if Barry Soetoro was sent back to Hawaii by his mom at the age of 10 and was an Indonesian citizen by virtue of his adoption by his stepfather (and presumably entering the US with an Indonesian passport), then under what visa did he travel with?
If he was using a tourist visa to come to the US, then he clearly overstayed here if he went to school in Hawaii, making him an illegal alien. If so, then that wouldn’t allow him to legally establish permanent residence here and Sections 349 (a) and 355 of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 wouldn’t therefore apply to him, right?
Even if he was adopted, dual citizenship would not overcome his “natural born” status if he was born in Hawaii without other factors like renounciation of US citizenship.
The biggest issue for the success of Berg’s case right now is that the case will likely be dismissed because Berg does not have standing to bring it.
Standing implicates a procedural issue that Judges take VERY SERIOUSLY– and ALL the case law (25 years worth) is against Berg on the issue– if he has no standing to bring the case, it’s over, the evidence either way need not even be considered by the court.
Everyone who is interested in the success of Berg’s case should be trying to help Berg find a way around the standing issue (he hasn’t offered any argument that’s going to overcome it yet)– without overcoming that issue, there is NO case at all.

53, he likely travelled to Indonesia on a US passport, and came home using the same passport, even if he also obtained an Indonesian passport while there, he’d still have had his original US passport and then had dual citizenship at that time (under US law, even if not under Indonesian law).
Also, keep in mind this was all well before the dawn of the computer age. Travel documents were easier to manipulate, and more difficult to verify with any certainty.

The premise of losing US citizenship differs from never having had it in the first place, the latter scenario fits Barack’s situation because his mother was too young to confer it being the sole American parent.

Lawsuit in Washington State Questions Barack Obama’s Citizenship, Eligibility to be President

According to an article run yesterday by The Daily Herald in Everett, WA, a civil action was filed Tuesday in Washington State Superior Court against Sam Reed, Secretary of State for the State of Washington, demanding that Illinois Sen. Barack Obama be removed from the ballot in Washington unless he can provide verification of his status as a United States citizen.
Steven Marquis, the Fall City, WA resident who filed the suit, asks that the Secretary of State’s office verify, by looking at “original or certified verifiable official documents,” that Obama is a natural-born citizen of the United States and eligible to serve as president, and that the office do so by Election Day. Marquis argues that resolving, one way or another, the unanswered questions surrounding Obama’s citizenship and background would “preclude a constitutional crisis and likely civil unrest” which would arise should information come to light after the election which shows that the Illinois senator is ineligible to hold the presidency.

There are three possibilities: (a) API simply invented the story; (b) Michelle Obama really did call API; or (c) a woman called API and identified herself as MO even though she was not MO.
This last possibility is the “black op” explanation. Who might be motivated to conduct such a black op? (i) A delinquent — someone who thought it would be fun to stir up trouble but someone who had no particular political goal; (ii) A freelance political opponent of Obama who hoped the story would get enough traction to damage him despite the inevitable denials; or (iii) A supporter of Obama who ensured, in advance, that the story could be conclusively refuted — e.g., by making the call at a time at which MO was known to be making a speech. The idea being that such a refutation would serve, de facto, to discredit much else that is discussed at TD and elsewhere on the internet.

He could not have traveled to Pakistan on a U.S. passport. The American Government had a “travel ban” on Pakistan during the time Obama traveled there. The only way he could have gotten in to Pakistan is with an Indonesian passport.

About any inheritance from his father: He apparently said in his fictional autobiography that Mark was the only one with documents that prove paternity.
This may not mean that there aren’t such documents for Obama Jr., just that he was not in possession of them or did not want to find them, for fear of what else they might show.
If he did have them, maybe he did not want to reveal them, for some reason. What reason? That’s what we all want to know.
It may be that the only proof of his paternity resides in Mombasa and/or in the UK (or Hawaii).
But in any case, presenting documents that prove his paternity might not have been worth it.
How much of an inheritance would he have received, anyway? Would that amount have offset whatever price he might have paid, career-wise, based upon other revelations in those documents?
He apparently does not want us to know whatever else is on those documents. Otherwise, he’d respond to Berg’s lawsuit.

The fact she said EXACTLY what we all want to hear is very suspect to me.

In the 1970s and 1980s (and probably before that) American children traveled on their mothers passports. I know this because I had a friend growing up and a cousin whose military families were stationed in Germany. I have seen a couple of their old passports (3 — 2 for my friend’s family, one for my cousins family). The children (under 12) were photographed sitting with and around their mother. Never the father from the 3 passports I remember seeing over the years. SOOOO, if Barry was brought back to the US before he was 13, he traveled with his mom (an American) using HER passport that had their “family” portrait in it. Since Ann probably never renounced her own citizenship it would be really easy to pull off. Remember, before 9/11 it wasn’t as hard to travel by plane.

I agree that we need to tread carefully about the API “story.”
I tried to read another of their posts, one about Corsi getting sick, and it wouldn’t come up. I don’t know whether somebody’s playing games with their site or whether they are playing games.
My immediate question, upon reading the story, was how the heck did Michelle Obama know how to call them in the first place?
If they are only now putting a phone number on their site, then how did Michelle know what number to call?
I did find a pro-Obama story in their archives, but that might indicate only that they are trying to be balanced. Who knows?
Some of the wording in Michelle’s purported quotes sound like her. Others do not.
If she did, indeed, talk to them via phone, one would hope there’s a recording.
If there’s no recording and if she really did talk to them on the phone, it may be a misquote, meaning that if the quotes seem more like something coming out of an “African’s” mouth, that may be how an African heard and interpreted her words (or the notes taken as she spoke).
This could very well be astroturfing, in order to discredit this blog. But, of course, TD is known for being fair and balanced and for correcting the record whenever more evidence is revealed.
Yesterday, we were speculating about Jesse Jackson and his connection with and influence upon Obama. Here’s something from a story that I found interesting:

Pretty instructive. But now we’re not supposed to listen to what Jackson says in France, concerning how Obama will end “‘decades of putting Israel’s interests first.’”

I’ll bet that his “background” will have a lot of influence on his policies.
But now Obama says that Jackson is not part of his campaign and doesn’t speak for him. Right.
Isn’t it funny how not only do Obama’s friends, allies, relatives, and scary connections frequently end up under the bus, but NONE of them are “advisors” or “confidants.”

Obama takes pains to point out who is or is not a campaign advisor, even when that’s not the question.
Instead of answering questions about his long-time association with Ayers, for example, he says that Ayers doesn’t advise his campaign.
Well, that wasn’t the question, was it?
He also parses his words about what comprises an advisor. You see, there are “official” advisors and there are “employees” of his campaign. Left unsaid (and unclarified by the OMSM) is whether or not there is a vast panoply of unofficial advisors or volunteers, many of whom may be people like Jackson, Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers, ad infinitum.
This resembles how he NOW claims on his Fight the Truth (sorry, Smears) website that he was never “any type of employee” of ACORN and was never “hired” by them as a trainer or organizer.
Which are also untruths, but apparently he doesn’t consider that being their lawyer makes him an employee or that holding training sessions for their employees and Talbott’s staff makes him an employee. (I’ll bet he got a stipend for those appearances, though.)
But this depends, you see, upon what the meaning of “employee” is. Or what the meaning of “hired” is. He was probably self-employed or was a subcontractor or employee of a law firm or a volunteer, on and on and on.
You got the picture.
Nope, no, no — my brother was born in Belgium, and came to the States when he was 3. We were told he would get to choose citizenship when he turned 18. When he turned 18, he filed for dual citizenship … he was denied. They said since he had an American social security number, drivers license, etc. that his default citizenship was to the U.S. and he couldn’t claim citizenship elsewhere. Done and done.
Also — wasn’t McCain born in the Panama Canal zone? Biased much?

I was up all night reading the blogs about this story and had convinced myself it was phoney. But I just went and read her comments again here http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/5576 and now believe this story to be true. He comment about no law stopping her husband from being president really made me realize that she is mad and she and Barack are feeling the pressure from knowing that Philip Berg is about to end it all for them. The fact that Obama has not produced the documents just proves that he doesn’t have them. I don’t think they are worried about ACORN, Ayers, Rezko, or anything else that comes along at this stage and with the press on their side. But if a judge orders him to produce the BC and he can’t, HE”S DONE and he knows it. The stress is getting to Michelle and she let it show with this interview.

In going over all of this birth business again, I am trying to detrrmine what the facts we know are and I have some questions.
This idea that there is some uncertainty as to whether Barack Sr. and Ann Dunham were actually married has been mentioned here and there. This seems to be contradicted by the Marriage date in Maui said to have taken place 2/2/61, despite objections by Ann’s parents, as has been reported. So why is this questioned?
Barack Junior is said to have been born 8/4/61 in Hawaii and we have the stated possibility they had gone to Kenya prior to that, to meet her husband’s family and perhaps Junior was born there.
Where is the proof of the trip to Kenya?
Apparently this story is said to be based in Barack Junior’s Kenyan Grandmother’s and other family members and reported statements that she attanded the birth in Kenya.
I cannot locate any firm source for this trip to Kenya. There is the video of the interview with his grandmother:

I haven’t seen any specific refutations of this yet.
We all know that Obama has lied about and minimized many things–depth of connections with Rezko, Wright, Ayers, numerous other people, ACORN etc. These things coupled with the odd and questionable primary loss by Hillary would already make me not ever vote for him, but apparently, according to polls and obvious fanatic Obamunism, none of these isseus have an effect and clearly the mass media are true believers in Obama.
Now with this new “API” report we have another unsubstantiated report, that if we mention to others, make us look gullible like we are chasing shadows.

1) What this incident tells me is that they will give the Judge today a short form Hawaiian birth certificate only.

Best to combine efforts to find the truth I think.
Make sure they don’t skip over the born in Kenya part. It’s not only about his adoption in Indonesia but also his place of birth, Kenya. He should be disqualified A.S.A.P considering his lies and anyone wonders why this man doesn’t love this country? He has no connection to this country as most people do, except for his radical associates.

The above is an amusing article about Obama’s ACORN problem. It will answer those trolls who claim that there’s no proof that anybody has voted via a bogus registration. But there is evidence, and there has been for a long time. ACORN employees were indicted and pleaded guilty in MO in past elections. Students can easily do so, if they register where they go to school and also register at “home.” Vote by absentee in one state and in person in the other state. Easy as pie. The big question is: Why would she say something like this out loud?
Consider: She was angered by something they had published. Her anger made her act rashly. She said this by phone only, and did not think it would be published because she did not consider that it might be being recorded. But it WAS recorded, probably as a matter of course.

I just communicated with an expert on Shia Islam who is an Iranian-American. He has written books on the subject and has advised the President concerning the divide between the Sunnis and Shias. I asked him what his opinion was concerning Senator Obama and his ties and/or sympathies with Shia Islam. He would not venture to answer.
All of us trying to uncover things and spread information as TD is doing–we’re at an extreme disadvantage. We do not have the information that people at high levels of government do. The information they have far, far exceeds what is available to us. Large government agencies do nothing else but gather intelligence and keep records on what they find.
With “inside information” a game is being played with the American people. We are not privy to alot.
Ask yourselves, what is it about Obama that is being kept from public view and why? Why are the questionable things about his birth and other personal records out of reach? Why do leaders like the Clintons and even McCain not even approach these subjects?
What is at stake here? Why would releasing a true copy of Obama’s real birth certificate be a problem? Why would it be a problem, not only for Obama, but for Hillary Clinton and John McCain? Ask yourselves these questions and if you can answer them, you may begin to see what is involved and why there is such a tight lid on such information.
As for Michelle saying something indicative of what is going on, if she somehow did, it will be covered up, explained away and dropped–never even mentioned by the MSM.
What I feel our mainstream Establishment is banking on is Obama will lose the election and go back to being a senator. He will lose based on open issues, nothing to do with what is kept hidden. Behind the scenes even the Clintons and former Clinton supporters are working for McCain.
The Insiders see Obama as a sincere man who has done things for his country that are classified. No one expected him to go this far in an election. Hillary should have been nominated by the Democrats.
To bring out the whole truth about Obama now or in the near future could really cause problems, both nationally and internationally. Undoubtedly there will be problems anyway.
The doubts created about Obama by the blogs, such as this one, are doing a service by turning people off to Obama. In spite of his sincerity, his world view is way out of sync with the vast majority of Americans and way too sympathetic to those who have declared themselves our enemies.

Assuming BO was born in Hawaii, how do you reconcile that with The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952
Section 349 (a) :

This law quite clearly states the opposite of your assertion that “If Obama was adopted by his step-father, Lolo Soetoro, as we’ve theorized on this blog, then he became an Indonesian citizen… putting the status of his US citizenship in question.”
The act says “That nationality shall not be lost”, clearly showing that the status of his US citizenship would not be “in question”. (we do agree that Obama was a resident of US from 1971 at age 10 onward, right?)
It is interesting and suspicious. Has anyone heard anything about the Berg case? The judge needs to rule soon, otherwise this is going to snowball into a constitutional crisis.

Your post is so correct. I spent 5 yrs in DC ( living with a DHS person) and we DO NOT know half the things that go on in the government. They probably have this info (BC) on Obama and the best question thus far is “why is this not being released publicly?

If you expect people to believe this after all the reports flying around on so many topics, then you will have to step up and prove it. Release the tape and make it public. This is an issue that affects the Constitution of the United States and whether someone is lying about his eligibility to be the leader of the Free World. 1. Why isn’t McCain screaming about this? Since he would win almost by default, it does seem kind of odd that he’s not mentioning it. And no, I don’t believe that crap about how he was offered a post in Obummer’s cabinet in exchange for remaining silent — since he’d win by default if this is true!

Does Berg have any information on what passport Obama travelled on (to and from Indonesia)? An indonesian adopting Obama does not necessarily make him an indonesian citizen. If however, record can be located that shows Obama travelled on an Indonesian passport, that would have definitive proof of his indonesian citizenship. Then again, probably Obama bought it off by offering irian jaya.

I dunno, suek. The The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 states that:
“a person who is a national of the United States whether by birth … That nationality shall not be lost by any person under this section as the result of the naturalization of a parent or parents while such person is under the age of twenty-one years, or as the result of naturalization obtained on behalf of a person under twenty-one years of age by a parent, guardian, or duly authorized agent, unless such person shall fail to enter the United States to establish a permanent residence prior to his twenty-fifth birthday”
It says that adoption by Soetoro or Ann relinquishing citizenship would have no effect on BO’s US status providing he took permanent residence in US before age 25.
I have not read any law that indicates having two passports voids one’s citizenship.
Nor have I read any citation that shows that BO used an Indonesian passport to travel to Pakistan.
Nor have I read anything to show that Pakistan was on the State Dept’s ‘no travel’ list in 1981. I have read such claims on blogs, but without any citation to back it up. All I can find is a travel article in the New York Times published June 14, 1981 by Barbara Crossette about how Americans can get free visas, what hotels to stay in, where the best meals are, how American non-Muslims can visit mosques, and liquor available in hotels.

What Obama did I believe is classified. The need for classification required many things about him to be taken out of sight as well. This was for his own safety and for the safety of others.
So, it may very well be true that his citizenship is lacking according to the strict requirements of the Constitution but the government is in a bind. The truth cannot be brought out for reasons of national security. This is according to the way national security is defined by the government.
So you have the extreme Left that wants Obama to win, no matter what, and to hell with the Constitution. (This includes a Left-wing dominated Media). And you have the Establishment, to include the Clintons and McCain, who cannot speak of things that are classified for the sake of national security.
Obama has been taking advantage of this. No one in the Establishment expected him to get this far. So in a sense, it is already a Constitutional crises. It has come about because of the way Intel organizations work in a world frought with danger.
The way Obama is seen as “sincere” by the Insiders is he is seen as ideologically sincere. He is doing what he is doing from true conviction–his world vision. The problem is he is using deception. But in war–and a cultural war is going on–that is a strategy and tactic often used by all sides.

That includes the information that he is a political refugee from Kenya, and was at one time a long-distance runner there. The chances are that I would like him if we met.
That said, Mr. Korir does have an obligation, through some means, to quickly verify the material which appeared on his site on 15 Oct 08 attributed to Mrs. Obama.
It would seem that this could be done in several ways without violating any privacy concerns normally arising from a news source – which Mrs. Obama is in this instance.
Many, many news mediums in the U. S. and the West would balk at providing, on demand, an audio recording for distribution of a private news source that called into the news room of that medium.
This would likely be rightfully viewed as having a chilling affect upon public participation in the news process. Who would call a newsroom if they thought their every word and phrase was going to distributed in a recording to the world?
Nevertheless, Mr. Korir does manifestly have an obligation to substantiate the attribution to Mrs. Obama.
At the minimum, he could do this by putting forth at least representative snippets of the call; or arrange for respected/representative individuals to hear the recorded section published on 15 Oct 08 and thereby verify the published account.

Does that ring any bells? I believe both books were written in the 90s, so he would have been in his 30s…
I want to hear this on tape, not hear someone reading the alleged call on YouTube. I doubt Mrs. Obama would make such a foolish move, to call an African news agency and say such things. Sounds like someone is trying to throw people off…I wonder who that could be?

I understand covert operations, secret clearances, national security issues etc. My gut instinct tells me that Obama was not a BI operative or contract employee. His past history with a seriously unstable life doesn’t make him a candidate for such a position. Especially the Frank Davis connection, other connections, his drug use etc etc…
Obama shows clear sociopathic tendencies which to me, are the most disturbing. His absolute overt control of his own emotions, the need to control others and the need for power. Power fuels him and makes him verbally eloquent.
If you watched Obama in the beginning, he stammered all the time. That has almost disappeared because he feels that he has won this election and his power has increased considerably making him invincible (in his own mind).
The true indicator of how Obama really feels is by observing his wife who is transparent. They both share the same ideology, the same hatred for white people, the same disdain for this country.
Obama’s undoing would be to publicly back him into a corner and hammer him with issues that would expose him. Then the world would see his true personlity, his stammering return and his controlled anger unfold.
Unfortunately McCain did not have the capability or knowledge on how to do this in the debates.

Recordings and information leading to recent API story on Michelle Obama’s telephone call is now being cleared for release

API is disturbed by the way many have reacted to the story on Mrs Obama’s call. Many have shown us by the way they have behaved towards API that they only think of their own interests because they have demanded that the audio recordings should be released immediately. We understand that the tapes should be released, but those who have demanded the release of the tapes seem not take into account that API may become a suing target.
The Recordings:
API has recordings of the conversation between API and Mrs Obama (Shocking development: Mrs Obama decides enough is enough: “My husband was born in Hawaii and adopted by his step father, does that make him unpatriotic; she asks”, on a direct telephone to API., and we confirm that the audio will be released to the public. In the last 24 hours, API has been consulting legal advisers on the way forward in order to avoid being sued by the Obama camp. API has realised that the contents of the tapes if made public may change the political atmosphere in America for ever, especially in the next few days.
Due to enormous reactions received, API now understands the impact of the statements made by Mrs Obama. The American people have reacted in a way we in API would never have expected.
Many have question why Mrs Obama would choose a little known online media group instead of the American media. API was chosen because of a Nairobi contact that did not like the way API was covering Barack Obama using information collected from American media outlets. The Nairobi contact prevailed upon Mrs Obama to talk to API.
The only thing API may have done wrong is not informing Mrs Obama that the conversation was being recorded. This is why it is taking time to release the recording while consulting a legal team because API wants to be legally safe from any Obama camp law suit.
The US Media Outlets:
Since the release of Mrs Obama story, many US media outlets have insisted that API should release the recordings made when Mrs Obama spoke with API. We understand the importance of the recordings in our possession and yet the first thing we are thinking of is not simply to make them public because groups are pressurising API to do so. The release of the information will be done, because we know we have Mrs Obama on tape, but API must do it in a way that does not put API in an embarrassing legal situation.
Die-hard Obama supporters:
A number of Americans who are die-hard Obama followers have tried their best to intimidate API using all kinds of threatening methods when they call in and when they email us. They are implying that API is planning to destroy Obama’s chances to become the next US President. API does not have a direct interest in the US Presidential elections and we want Obama supporters to understand that. However, when someone who may become the next first lady makes such comments as in the story we have published, the public have the right to know. Intimidation directed to the publishers of the story is not the answer.
The delay to make public the recordings is expected to give time to Mrs Obama to come clean and tell the American people that her comments were not meant to harm anyone but that she was reacting to the media pressure on her husband. She should also come out and tell the American people that she will not discriminate those who are not Obama fanatics if she becomes the first lady.
Die-hard Mcain supporters:
Those who do not support Obama are actively pushing for the release of the recordings also, and we understand them very well. In many telephone conversations with them we, however, get disturbed when we realise that most of them want the recordings to be released because they want to use it to stop Senator Obama from being elected President. They state clearly that if the story is true and released now, the contents will safe America from a constitutional crisis that may come if things come out after the elections that proves Obama was adopted by a foreigner, thus, disqualifying him from the Presidency.

Some have questioned why API has its base in Norway. Online News Media can be based anywhere in the world. With the Internet age, a news network can have people anywhere in the world. API’s news correspondents – 19 of them are real and based in the African Continent. API is a solid Daily Online News Channel and this Obama story will not change that.
Questioning API on being based in Norway:
There is nothing wrong having African Press International based in Norway and the channel run by Africans from the African Continent. Even Kenya’s present Prime Minister Raila Odinga lived in Norway for some time before joining the Kenya government.
API has also been accused because of the timing to release Mrs Obama story. Some even discus small issues as to why API telephone number starts with 00, and spellings in the article. This to us in API sounds ridiculous.
The important thing to be concerned about is how API obtained the story and how genuine it is. The second thing is to exercise understanding and to respect why there is a delay in releasing the recordings. API is not saying there are no recordings, but it is important to take serious API’s concerns on a possible suit if the tapes are not handled carefully.
API is not out to convince the American public of anything. We do not want to influence the outcome of the US Presidential elections. API got a true story and published it. The fact that the story has caused a stir was unexpected, but that does not mean API must rush in a manner that will cause problems to itself, just to satisfy those who want the audio tapes so badly.
When the legal concerns are cleared, which is happening in a short while, API will make public all the recordings available. This will also include comments, not yet published, which will most certainly put the Obama Campaign spokesperson who had dismissed the story off balance.
Even if our recordings or any other recordings had surfaced after the elections and if the contents were damaging to the elected person that still could have caused any elected president to vacate the White House. We all know that the tapes released in the US in 1974 forced President Richard Nixon out of office. The truth is the truth. The tapes during Nixon time did not lie.
The same here. The recordings that API will release soon will not lie to the American people. Most probably, it will change the political landscape, something the Americans should start getting prepared to face.

I posted a statement on African Press International encouraging Mr. Korir to take his time to make sure that his family and himself are not going to suffer repercussions. If he has any family in Kenya, he may be trying to move them out of harm’s way.
You must all understand what would happen to his family when Odingo finds out about his releasing the tapes.
This is an act of bravery on the part of Mr. Korir, but he has toproceed carefully so as not to jeopardize the lives of his loved ones.
