Foreword: This story was originally published on Sept. 12, and is being re-posted now in light of efforts by the New York Times, CNN, AP, and other Obama-Media-Propaganda tools to dismiss the depth and longevity of Barack (and Michelle) Obama’s friendship (YES, friendship) with Bill “the bomber” Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, founders of Weather Underground. [And if you want first-hand evidence of the damage Ayers inflicted on other Americans, please check out this interview of one of his victims.]
I remember the days of true-grit investigative journalism, when a newspaper such as the New York Times would send an eager reporter out into the field to search for the truth. Sadly those days, for whatever reasons, have passed. If I had the resources and, ideally, a respectable media outlet to back me up, I would have written by now an investigative piece about the origin and evolution of Barack Obama’s ties to Ayers and Dohrn. I believe they trace back at least to Occidental College in the 1980s.
Professor Steve Diamond (see his blog, Global Labor and Politics) has done an outstanding job in diligently pursuing the truth of Obama’s relationship with Ayers; he should be honored for his work. Andy Martin has also asked the right questions. What a tragedy that no one with serious journalistic credentials gives a damn.

How long has Barack Obama really known William Ayers, what is the true extent of their association, and what are the roots of Obama’s ties to the Weather Underground?
The answers are disturbing.
We begin with Andy Martin’s work.
Although I have viewed Andy Martin, author of The Man Behind the Mask, with a wary eye because of his partisan views, I wonder if he is now on the trail of a very hot, very damaging lead involving Barack Obama’s college years.
Martin is one of a handful of researchers investigating Obama’s ties to Bill “the bomber” Ayers, mastermind of the The Weather Underground, who remains (along with lovely wife Bernardine Dohrn) unrepentant to this day for the violent crimes of terrorism inflicted upon innocent Americans. Many of us have asserted for months that Obama’s relationship with Ayers is far more extensive than Obama let on when he insisted in a debate that Ayers is “just a guy in the neighborhood,” or something to that effect.
Now the Mainstream Media is onto this story too, and has (finally) noticed that Obama is hiding records from Columbia University, where he completed his undergraduate studies after transferring from Occidental College in California. To be more precise, it’s not just Obama’s academic files that are missing, but more curiously, the files of his life. The Wall Street Journal had a story Thursday entitled Obama’s Lost Years:
What can be said with some certainty is that Mr. Obama lived off campus while at Columbia in 1981-83 and made few friends. Fox News contacted some 400 of his classmates and found no one who remembered him.
Martin questions whether this mysterious period of Obama’s life has to do with William Ayers:
Is it just a coincidence that Obama and Ayers were on the Columbia campus together? Did they meet and make their initial contact at that time? Had Obama been turned on to Ayers by Frank Marshall Davis? Was there a Khalid Al-Mansour and William Ayers connection during this early period. Questions, questions. But no answers from Mr. Obama.
Did Ayers point Obama in the direction of Chicago as a place to hone Obama’s “organizing” skills?
Based on the research we’ve done, I believe that Martin’s questions are reasonable. He has drafted a timeline:

2007-2008 The structure of Obama’s presidential campaign increasingly comes to resemble an Ayers-designed national “community organizer matrix” straight out of Maoist theory. This is not merely a presidential “campaign.” Obama’s organization is the first installment of an ongoing movement being paid for with tax-exempt contributions to his campaign, approaching half a billion dollars.
2008 Obama In response to ABC News, Obama tells a national TV audience he was “six years old” when Ayers bombed federal buildings, and they are only casual neighborhood acquaintances. A lie.

Obama spent two years at Columbia University yet left virtually no fingerprints of his presence there. Could that be because Columbia was where Mr. Obama first met “mad bomber” William Ayers?
Obama has also refused to release his Columbia University transcripts. What secrets lurk there?
Likewise for Occidental College where he attended for two years. What is he trying to hide?
I arrived in the Columbia area to study theology at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine shortly after Obama had left, so I know the neighborhood well. I have gone back to retrace were he might have been. No luck. No footprints, either.
What has Obama’s past behavior over the past four years taught me? When Obama is hiding something he is hiding something.
Obama’s ties to the Weather Underground appear to go back even to his days at Occidental. Via the blog Zimbio:
Barack Obama’s first public speech was at an Occidental College event sponsored by the Students for Economic Democracy a branch of the Campaign for Economic Democracy [CED]. Far Left radical Tom Hayden who met with Marxist officials several times during his antiwar career chaired this fringe group in the late 70’s and early ’80’s. Several of the CED principal activists were also veterans of the Hayden-campaign and of the very radical group, Students for a Democratic Society.
Hayden was an important anti-American figure in the Students for a Democratic-Society a militantly leftist organization. 60’s radical Tom Hayden played a pivotal role both as founder and as principal author of this student group’s basic manifesto, the “Port Huron Statement.” This document condemned the American political system as the cause of international conflict and a variety of social ills — including racism, materialism, militarism, and poverty.

In 1969 Hayden’s students for democracy group began imploding into factions. One of them, a group calling itself Weatherman, was elected to SDS leadership and proclaimed that the time had come to launch a race war on behalf of the Third World and against the United States. The Weatherman declared “war on AmeriKKKa” at its Flint War Council in 1969.
The new entity dissolved Hayden’s Students for a Democratic Society and formed a terrorist cult in its place, which was given the name Weather Underground.
How odd that way back in the beginning of Barack Obama’s speaking career the group he was involved with had links to Marxists, the Weatherman and Bill Ayers.
It was not surprising then that after his first public speech at Occidental College Barack Obama found himself working several years with William Ayers, the founder of the terrorist cult Weather Underground, in Chicago.
And if you want to trace Obama’s roots to Weather Underground-style radicalism even further, look to Frank Marshall Davis, his “mentor” in Hawaii. Davis, interestingly, had connections in Chicago. Via another blog:
Obama’s grandfather introduced him to Frank Marshall Davis, an activist and poet with ties to the Communist Party. Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA).
The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his “poetry” and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, “Dreams From My Father,” refers to him repeatedly as just “Frank.” The 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What’s more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.
In his book, Obama writes about… “Frank and his old Black Power dashiki self” giving him advice before he left for Occidental College in 1979 at the age of 18…
Professor Gerald Horne, a history professor at the University of Houston, noted that Davis, who moved to Honolulu from Kansas in 1948 “at the suggestion of his good friend Paul Robeson,” came into contact with Barack Obama and his family and became the young man’s mentor, influencing Obama’s sense of identity and career moves. Robeson, of course, was the well-known black actor and singer who served as a member of the CPUSA and apologist for the old Soviet Union. Davis had known Robeson from his time in Chicago.
And isn’t it interesting how Barack Obama’s radical roots come full circle, back to Chicago? Again, the question we started with: Were Frank Marshall Davis and Thomas Ayers (Bill’s father) acquainted?

Great work. I think your timeline pulls together a lot of what we know and fills in the blanks in the most likely way. Obama is the Ayers candidate. He was spotted by Ayers early to be the embodiment of what Ayers wanted to be. Ayers knew he couldn’t go as mainstream as Obama is now, that is why he decided to fund and foster Obama to be his surrogate.

And, since you’re not busy….. to add to the pile (it’s sort of related, tangentially, maybe, to the thread you’re developing here)…. from the “Chicagoans Against Obama” group, saw something very intriguing on a Chicago TV segment seeking reaction to the McCain/Palin convention speeches.
The question raised there: If BHO was such a marvelous “community organizer” people should ask the obvious question: What did he organize? The suggestion (a VERY good one), GO TO THE 13TH PRECINCT (which BHO REPRESENTED) and take a look!
Point: If we’re to look at “records” (Obama vs. McCain or, as it’s been recently — oddly — Obama vs. Palin), rather than “platforms” and “promises,” then lets do it.
People have descended on Alaska to check out Palin’s natural “habitat” for themselves. Who is going to the 13th Precinct in Chicago to see exactly what legacy The One left there?
I get the links discussed above re: Obama and Chicago and they make sense at first glance (subject to further follow-up, of course). And, having attended the U of Michigan (with its odd history, as the birthplace of the SDS and the place where formation of the Peace Corps was announced by President Kennedy), I can confirm that the metropolitan hotbed of the radical movement during that time (and after) was Chicago. Flanked by the U of Wisconsin (in Madison) and the U of Michigan (a/k/a “Berkley of the Midwest”), it was the city to which the radical movers and shakers gravitated. And then they grew up.
And, from reading this blog and other sources, those seeds, once planted and sprouted in Chicago, continued to grow and find their way into local politics and communities long after everybody got haircuts and forgot how to tie-dye T-shirts.
But enough reminiscing. The point is: FINALLY people are looking behind the front man to see what’s in his wake. Why do we know almost nothing about him? What does the district he represented look like today? Where are the signs of activism and community organization, working across the aisle, forming coalitions to better the plight of the people he represented?
I’ve been over to the McCain/Palin Blog and it’s like returning to the Hillary wars. The same vile sniping and the Obama true believers (speaking of religion — those who scoff at Palin’s faith don’t see the parallel — they have their own religion — the worship of all things Obama) wanting to talk about “issues” rather than personalities.
But that’s not what they mean. By “issues” they mean let’s talk about what each candidate “says”. They don’t want to talk about issues; they want to talk about PLATFORMS.
The platforms aren’t issues (well, they could be, but it’s begging the question — I’m for many wonderful things, does that mean I should be President — not hardly). The issue is who are we electing? Yes, there are specific issues on which the candidates agree and disagree. But, at the core, at this moment in time, the question before us is “Who Are We Electing?”
And, while we’ll soon know what TP Governor Palin wipes with (single-sheet or 2-ply — plain or scented), we know virtually nothing about this neophyte Senator and former community organizer and the community he’s supposed to have organized.
Those questions have not been answered because they’ve not been asked or, when they have been asked, they’ve been ignored by The Candidate. Thank goodness you and the Chicago folks are asking these questions. Let’s hope there are some answers soon, so that we can, indeed, base the decision in this campaign on “THE ISSUES.”
P.S. / To be clear, the underlying “issue” is not how many garbage cans are on the street corners of the 13th in Chicago or whether an underpass is painted. The issue here, as it has been from the beginning, is truthfulness. Just as it was (for me) with Bill Clinton. It wasn’t what he did or didn’t do with an intern (that’s a moral judgment and the White House has seen worse); it was that he lied to his staff about it and caused them to suffer personally (hiring lawyers and issuing denials, mortgaging houses to pay legal fees) based on his misrepresentation. The ISSUE here is, indeed, character. And I, for one, want to know WHO THIS CHARACTER IS who wants to be President of my country.

Obama’s Mentor Was a Pervert
Covering a sensitive and explosive subject that has been off-limits for the major U.S. media, the London Daily Telegraph is now claiming that Frank Marshall Davis was a strong influence over a young Barack Obama for nine years of his life, rather than just four, and was a sex pervert and pothead.
The Telegraph article alleges that Davis was a bisexual engaged in “sordid” sexual activities and had repeated sexual encounters with a 13-year-old girl.
Davis died in 1987.
“Although identified only as Frank in Mr. Obama’s memoir Dreams from My Father, it has now been established that he was Frank Marshall Davis.
In Dreams From My Father, the mysterious “Frank” makes numerous appearances and gives Obama advice on matters ranging from race relations to college and his life in the U.S.
Obama’s white grandfather, Stanley Dunham, picked Davis because Obama’s black father had abandoned the family and Dunham thought Obama needed a black father-figure. Davis was Obama’s mentor during the critical years 1975-1979.
Obama was introduced to Davis in 1970 when he was only nine years old. This would mean that Davis was an influence over Obama for about nine full years, until Obama was 18 and went off to college.
Sources quote Dawna Weatherly-Williams, a friend of Davis’s, as saying that Stanley Dunham brought Obama to meet Davis in the autumn of 1970. She “was chatting with him [Davis] that late autumn afternoon as Dunham and Barry [Obama] approached,”
Some accounts say that Obama returned to Hawaii in 1971.However, the Punahou School, the coeducational college preparatory day school in Honolulu that Obama attended from 1971 to 1979, was adamant that Obama took his entrance examine in autumn 1970. But whether it was 1970 or 1971, this adds several years to the amount of time that Davis was exercising influence over Obama.
Washington Post chairman, the late Katharine Graham, began her career as a journalist for the San Francisco News using, among others, Frank Marshall Davis, as a news “source.” This fact is acknowledged in an obituary of Graham on the official Post website. The Post Company and the paper today are run by members of the Graham family.
Frank Marshall Davis was sent to Hawaii from Chicago to organize there. Davis went to Hawaii after consulting with Paul Robeson and Bridges, who ran the International Longshore and Warehouse Union. This labor union subsidized the newspaper, the Honolulu Record, which Davis wrote for.
We also know that, as late as the early 1970s, after he had met Obama, Davis was still associating with the American Committee for Foreign Born, which existed to prevent the deportation from the U.S. of foreigners. Davis had met Bridges at the Abraham Lincoln School in Chicago.
Davis’s alleged sexual perversion adds a dramatic and alarming element to the controversy. Davis’s sexual proclivities were documented in a 1968 pornographic novel, written just two years before Davis became Obama’s mentor, which was titled, Sex Rebel: Black (Memoirs of a Gourmet Gash). Davis wrote the book, which is now generally unavailable, under a pseudonym, Bob Greene.
The book, which closely tracks Mr. Davis’s life in Chicago and Hawaii and the fact that his first wife was black and his second white, describes in lurid detail a series of shockingly sordid sexual encounters, often involving group sex. One chapter concerns the seduction by Mr. Davis and his first wife of a 13-year-old girl called Anne. Mr. Davis wrote that it was the girl who had suggested he had sex with her. In the book he describes how he and his wife would have sex with the girl many times over the course of several weeks
This explosive information, if the character in the book is actually based on Davis’s own experiences, would further demonstrate why Obama would want to cover up Davis’s true identity in his book, calling him just “Frank.”
There is no question that Davis wrote the book under the pseudonym of “Bob Greene.” John Edgar Tidwell, the editor of other books by Davis, has confirmed this is the case.
In the introduction to Livin’ the Blues, a book by Davis that Tidwell edited, Tidwell reveals that Davis left behind after his death an uncompleted manuscript, “The Incredible Waikiki Jungle,” which describes how Davis “specialized in sex” during the period 1969-1976. Tidwell also says that Davis wrote another unpublished manuscript called “Mixed Sex Salad.”
Whether the book Sex Rebel is entirely based on Davis or not, the controversy certainly demonstrates that Davis had a perverted sexual interest.
The Obama campaign’s 40-page so-called rebuttal to Corsi’s book confirms and does not deny the Obama relationship with Davis. With the allegations about Davis’s life as a sex pervert and consumer of illegal drugs, the pressure could mount on Obama to come clean about the mysterious relationship.

If Obama is so obviously tied to/handled by folks like Ayers, Dohrn, Davis, Wright, Masoud, et al. why is he getting so much corporate support? I just can’t get the connection between a bunch of obvious Socialists/Communists/Marxists and the global corporate community (GE, Goldman Sachs, Citi, etc.) and it’s driving me nuts. It appears to be like oil mixed with water on the surface, but in reality these contrarians are blending like sugar dissolves in water.
Something tells me the answer to this question will tell us exactly who is pushing this shamidate down the throats of Americans. Any thoughts?

For example let say you are CEO of a major bank, such as Chase Bank and your bank has made billions of dollars of bad loans to third world foreign governments. These bad loans have the no chance of being paid off what do? Write these loans off and risk Chase Bank going insolvent?
No, you get the American Taxpayer to pick up tab. Let us examine how the con works.
First you create tax free foundations to do your bidding like the Rockefeller Foundation and Rockefeller Brothers Fund. Then these tax free foundations which are nothing more than agents for the super wealthy fund Marxist Advocacy groups like Africa Action and Jubilee.
So the thing we know is we have any army of idiot activist screaming the evils of corporate America clamoring for the most evil United States government to provide dept relief for these third world nations.
So in the end the World Bank and IMF loan these third world nations money at less interest than the United States government can borrow it for so that Chase Bank and the Rockefellers are off the hook for their bad business decisions.
Of course the loans that the loans that the World Bank and IMF made will never be repaid so they are forgiven and the working American taxpayer gets stuck with the bill.
That’s why the global corporate community funds these Marxist through their tax free foundations it provides them cover.

It has always struck me that Obama Sr. does not resemble Obama Jr. I can see grandfather Stanley in Obama Jr., but I can see no resemblence between the elder and the junior Obamas.
Did the UK article specify where (in what city?) Frank’s sexual abuse of that 13-year-old girl named Anne took place?
If Frank was the father, that may explain why BO came back from Indonesia right around the time that Frank also became his special mentor and “black” father figure. Perhaps Frank helped get BO into that elite school?
The implications are extremely creepy. If details about this disgusting excuse for a man are being concealed, then in this case I can hardly blame BO.

If Barack Obama met Michelle when he was around 27 and married her at age 28 who were his girl friends before that? Why no mention of them?
Barack was a basketball player in highschool and college, tall, and attractive yet he didn’t have any girl pals during his early years in high school or college? Even after he left college and went to work at the law firm or in Chicago. I find it remarkable he never dated before he met Michelle Robinson (Obama).
elliotjones, I think you might have something there and here is why. Barack’s mother was not fair, you know a blonde with fair skin. She had dark hair and did not have a Nordic look. Barack Sr was a true African, until Davis. Barack would have a darker look and more African features, but he doesn’t. Frank Marshall Davis had some white blood, like most African-Americans, and Obama looks more like Davis than Barack Sr.
On that website if you look at Barack Sr he looks nothing like Barack Jr. but if when you put Frank Marshall Davis next to Barack Jr. they resemble each other. I wonder if Frank Marshall Davis, who liked you females is the real father of Barack Jr?

Obama’s book “Dreams of My Father” confirms the 1970 date for the entrance exam. On page 38, where he talks about being eager to start school (a new school): “I had gone for several interviews with Punahou’s admissions officer the previous summer.” Later, he mentions that he was 10 years old when he first attended Punahou, so he was nine, and in Hawaii, when he applied for admission.
Did he return to Indonesia in 1970? Not according to the book, which only details one typically dramatic return to Hawaii and his grandparents, by himself, and there are dozens of news stories out there that routinely state that his mother (and half-sister) followed him to Hawaii a year later. That was just before Christmas of 1971, and the visit of his alleged father, Barack Obama, Sr. — when he was 10. So that’s yet another unanswered question — did he go to another school in Hawaii in 1970, or no school at all? Did he travel back and forth from Indonesia in 1970 and just, well, forgot to mention it? It’s somewhat coincidental that the second Indonesian school that he claims to have attended for two years (which would include 1970) reports that “the bugs ate his records,” while the first school was able to show the media a well-preserved copy of his original registration record there, miraculously unscathed by bugs.
As far as his paternity goes, if BO, Sr. was his father, it was certainly a well-kept secret. Aside from the story woven in Obama’s book, there’s only been one quoted independent eyewitness to the fact that BO, Sr. and Anne Dunham were even acquainted, and that is Democratic U.S. Congressman Neil Abercrombie, who also happens to be a spokesman for the Obama campaign in Hawaii. Nobody was invited to the wedding of which there is no record — apparently, no one even knew there was a wedding, or a child, as evidenced by the photos of and “reminiscenses” by former college classmates of Obama, Sr. at this site. There are no pictures of them together at that time, and no mention of her or the child in an interviews published in the Hawaii newpapers at the time of Obama, Sr.’s graduation from Uof H. Obama wonders about that himself, in his book, but the media doesn’t.
It seems that you can crudely and obscenely question the parentage of anyone nowadays in the media — from Jesus Christ to Sarah Palin — but you may never, ever question the glorious historical narrative of Barack Hussein Obama II.

What has changed that the global corporate types have switched to using the Sub Prime Mortgage bailout tactic instead? I have felt this has been a very risky move on their part, especially after the Fannie/Freddie takeovers make it so obvious that the US government has every intention of bailing every single one of these corporations out, while the Republicans (of all people) continue to allow the sale of public utilities (complete with nuclear plants), contracts to manage American ports, and such be sold off to foreign powers and entities without so much as minor vetting.

During that debate, when George Stephanopoulos actually asked a question about Ayers, Obama’s supporters probably were bullying Stephanopoulos afterwards.
When asked that question, Obama insulted a senator, Tom Coburn and attempted to compare him to Ayers. The comparison was absurd. Just like when he tried to compare his grandmother to Jeremiah Wright.
The media tried to give Obama a reputation and perception as “post-partisan.” Someone who went to Jeremiah Wright’s church for at least 20 years and who had a long relationship with Rezko, Ayers, etc., is not “post-partisan.” Obama was the most divisive and polarizing candidates. At Princeton, Obama’s wife wrote a racist thesis.
So it’s not much of a surprise that fit in at Jeremiah Wright’s church. And since Wright’s church honored Farrakhan, it would make sense that someone with a Muslim background would fit in. If Obama had officially converted to Christianity, wouldn’t Muslims have issues a ‘fatwa’ against him? Wright’s church was more of a political “black supremacist” group than a church. So it makes sense that Obama and his wife enjoyed it there.
Brezinski is probably considered a mentor to Obama’s campaign. I think some of Obama’s advisers, like Susan Rice, are close with Brezinski. Brezinski is an anti-semite, like others who Obama has long relationships with.

I just offered my opinion which really is a theory but it does make a lot of sense. If you are a CEO of an American corporation and you want to break the unions you need to lobby for increased immigration to drive down wages.
Better yet fund the National Council of La Raza through the Ford Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Freddie Mac Foundation, etc. The well funded NCLR is thus free to lobby for such wonderful things for the American Worker as increased worker visas and path way to citizen for those undocumented workers. Of course it will succeed in driving down wages for the rest of us.

As Henry Epstein, a local labor leader familiar with Davis’s mainland reputation has said in an interview just before Davis’s death … Davis’s wife was presented as an artist, writer, and executive editor of a national press agency, who planned “to do watercolors of the islands during her stay” (Honolulu Star-Bulletin, December 10, 1948).
“For seven years Helen and I lived at Hauula, a predominantly Hawaiian village on the ocean some 31 miles from Honolulu. When I began driving daily to town and back, local boys who knew my schedule often waited beside the highway, sometimes for as long as three hours, to flag me down and ask questions about their personal lives, explaining, “you’re not haole [white] so I know I can trust you.” In Hauula I joined the Democratic precinct club, virtually ran the organization and was sent to the state convention by the predominantly Hawaiian membership who told me that since I was educated and articulate, I could speak for them.” (Davis 1992, 316)
What I remember about Frank was that he was a very prominent and well-known black poet who was very highly respected in Chicago. You’d see his picture once in a while on the society page of the Chicago newspapers and when they had fund raisers for progressive organizations in Chicago, if Frank Marshall Davis was coming you had a real attraction, a prominent person that would help bring people into the event. . . .

While Obama was getting his degree at Columbia from which he graduated in 1983, Bill Ayers Was getting his own degree at Bank Street College. Ayers graduated in 1984.
Bank Street College is less than a quarter of a mile from Columbia!
Ayers and Obama were studying within a quarter of a mile of each other for probably two years. It is inconceivable that they didn’t meet.
Could it be that Obama will not release his Columbia transcript not because he wants to hide his grades, but because he wants to hide his address? Could that address be the same or very close to that of Ayers’ on his Bank Street College transcript?

If Frank, Bridges, and other fellow travelers were in Seattle for one reason or another, it is not unreasonable that they would visit Mercer Island since it seems there were are lot of friendly faces there based on the reports of the school system?
If we find that Frank and his wife regularly visited the west coast, particularly Seattle, and the Dunhams visited Hawaii while living on Mercer Island, then the “Ann” reference at the age of thirteen in the Frank (aka Green) porn book could be significant.

A side note on the academic record issue.
While other records might relate to where BHO lived and such (they would at least have his contact address, but that might have been the home address), there is another possible reason why BHO does not want anyone to see his college academic records. And the reason I suggest this is only because there are only a couple of possible explanations, maybe three (3):
(1) His grades. BHO is supported for President by many whose only rationale (since he has no public record of accomplishment — none) is that he went to Harvard (law school). If he won’t allow anyone to see his college records, the most logical explanation is that he doesn’t want people to see his grades. Was he at the top of his class? Do you have any idea how hard it is to get into Harvard law? Would we find out that Mr. Obama didn’t do so well in school and that he was a “special” case? I’m not sure what that would be but it’s an area that raises the most obvious and immediate suspicion. GRADE RECORDS.
(2) Course work. Those records would also list the courses he took. Might there be some interesting choices in and among his topics of study? Who were his professors? Did anyone now connected only tangentially teach a special symposium at one of these schools? Did he actually study the radicalism of the 60’s (which would include the SDS, Weather Underground, Black Panthers and others)? Are there professors listed in those records (or teaching assistants) whose names might be damaging today? What did he study and what kind of grades did he make? COURSE WORK.
(3) This is far fetched but do we even know what name he was registered under at Occidental and at Columbia? Is it possible that he still carried one of his previous names? On this subject, a matter of personal curiousity and I’m sure everyone but me knows this by now, but when did he take the name Barack Hussein Obama? I’m not suggesting anything (I have a good friend who’s actually rehearsing with his band in my back den right now whose last name is Hussein and he’s definitely not a terrorist). I’m just curious. But, this could be another reason for not releasing ACADEMIC records. NAME CHANGE.
As to records of his life, I don’t know much about those or how much information a college would have on their students’ lives. But, you would think we’d have heard by now from someone who went to school with this guy. Remember when GWB had his ANGuard controversy, about what he did or didn’t do, there were plenty of people who spoke up, from his unit in Alabama (some of whom never saw him, of course, another story altogether). That’s what puzzles me about a lot of this, from Ayers on down.
Who else was at this fundraiser at Ayers’ house? I’d check contribution records (if they exist) for the period in question and see if any of those named people are around who were actually at Ayers’ house that night when he hosted the Obama fundraiser (or campaign kick off, that’s disputed). Who else was on the Annenberg board? Will none of them talk to anybody? Where are they? All loyal to the One and lips zipped?
But that’s on a broader subject. As to his academic records, I can imagine only the three above: His records aren’t good (grades), the course listing might contain something he doesn’t want known (subject matter or teacher), or he was using another name (not very likely).
Though I did think of a fourth. Another thing colleges might ask, not sure if they do any more, is religious affiliation (if any). If that said Muslim….. Well, there you go. Religious affiliation or affiliation with an extra-curricular club or organization (the only thing a college would keep official records of — as opposed to off-campus activities). I guess that’s possible.
I go with an earlier comment. When BHO’s hiding something, he’s hiding something. Or, in wagering, it’s called “betting the streak” — so far, there’s been fire where the smoke is — good bet that there is in this case as well.
BTW, peeps, I’d copy the New York Post on everything (if they aren’t reading this anyway). They’re the conservative’s voice in NY and less likely to be smoking what they’re smoking over on 8th Avenue (NYT) or at the Daily News.
I read a very interesting series of articles where author Jack Cashill posits that “Dreams of My Father” was not written by Obama at all…but was in fact ghostwritten by Ayers.
I handwaved the notion originally as being a little too conspiratorial but upon reading the articles, I think there’s merit to the assertions made given the time table, the relationship, the circumstances and the investment Ayers had in Obama’s success.

There is an awfully lot of information on the comment board here and I have been trying to take it all in and sort it out. As of 1 AM EST Thursday, October 2nd, 2008, the Court had not ruled on the Motion for Dismissal in Berg v. Obama. Whether or not the motion to dismiss was denied is a best speculative. I mean it could have been denied Friday Oct. 3, 2008; we will just have to wait and see.
That’s not why I came back, why I came back after surfing the web was to address a preponderance of sort, that being Obama needs a vaulted birth certificate to be eligible to be POTUS. If Frank Marshall Davis is his father than does that give him legal citizenship? You are dealing with the Chicago political machine for all intent and purpose and in all seriousness this could be a plant by the Obama campaign to legitimize his eligibility for POTUS. I’ve been doing my own research regarding Obama’s early communist ties. Frank Marshall Davis is the key person and his role in the community party in Hawaii is important. Hawaii didnt become a state until 1959, prior to that the communist party through Russia wanted to take it over for themselves. Davis was in with this group. He had moved there from Kansas where he lived only 50 miles from the Dunhams. I dont think it’s a coincidence that Obama’s mother went to Hawaii. I think she had dealings with Davis and that Davis introduced her to Obama’s father. Davis was a poet but also penned some filth books under the name Bob Greene about his sexual escapades according to his friend and editor Professor John Tidwell of Kansas University. Tidwell says they were explicit and one detailed Davis and his wifes involvement with a 13 year old white girl named Anne. Obama’s mom? That could be the tie. Also, during this period in Hawaii, according the the Hawaii online case searches, there were several families of Ayers living there. That is interesting and worth looking into by someone.

TD, There is a tie now to Bernadine Dohrn writing about her father and his sisters walking from her grandfather’s plumbing store to Hull House for games. Paul Robeson has alot of ties also to Hull House. Marcus Canfield was college friends with Paul Robeson. Frank Marshall Davis was very close friends with Paul Robeson. Helen Canfield- Davis was a member of the Paul Robeson communist party- card date 1947. Hull House was opened by Jane Addams in 1889. She was a leading radical, pacifist, and feminist. Hull House was the scene for swinging dinner parties, visitors from around the world, controversial speakers, fund raisers, art clubs, union groups, concerts, etc…sound familiar ? Jane Addams helped standardly controversial people like Paul Robeson, among others. I get the impression he was a frequent performer there. Addams died in 1935. Hull House was at least open 40 years I can find so far. That would have been at least through 1929. Lifelong associations and friendships forged there. Wonder if Bernard Dohrn (Ohrnstein) met Paul Robeson there ? Then Helen Canfield- Davis married Frank Marshall Davis in 1946. She was around 22 years old. Frank already knew Paul Robeson.They were older. Bernard Dohrn was a frequent visitor to Hull House. When Bernadine Dohrn ( Ohrnstein) was in highschool was when Bernard changed their name to Dohrn. Why ? Something there too. When Bill Ayers met Bernadine Dohrn, all others already on the scene it seems, so maybe he met them through much of the same. Not sure, but all others were linked before him unless he knew them all from other radical fronts.

TD, Miri, If you go to the old FBI files on Paul Robeson, a distinct pattern is shown. Look at his visa applications. He traveled the world on ocean liners with his wife and alone constantly. While some may argue that he was a famous performer ,thus the constant travel and relocating, I see a totally different pattern. He targeted aristocratic, wealthy people. I think one Hull House copy was also set up in Japan later, so they may have been a very innocent looking foundation, and did alot of good things, but were a perfect infiltration point for communists and radicals also. Hull House in Chicago was in the immigrant area. Polk and Halstead Streets. I wonder if there is also a settlement house on the S. side of Chicago too, thus the refrence to O organizing in S Chicago also ? The woman that took over Hull House after the death of Jane Addams was Patricia L. Sharpe of Wynyrd, Saskatchewan, Canada. She also worked as a teacher in Ottawa, Canada. She ran Hull House in the 80’s. In 1983 Ms.Sharpe married her lifelong friend Carl Kannewurf. He was an EE Professor at Northwest University. Why do I keep hearing Columbia,Canada,Chicago and Northwest U. when I read up on Obama ? Wasn’t it also supposed that he possibly was born in Canada ? Sharpe started working at Hull House in 1968. She died in 2008.She was named Execuitive Director in 1980 .Her job was to dole out funding money. She retired in 1990. She then became involved in Execuitive Service Corps. Hummmmm……..

Ayers’ Ann Arbor days
When William Ayers became a household name in America a week ago – courtesy of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin – longtime local residents were reminded of the ties of the so-called “domestic terrorist” to Ann Arbor, dating to the 1960s.
Ayers was a student at the University of Michigan before he dropped out and continued to live in Ann Arbor during the turbulent era of political and social unrest. He later became a member of the Weather Underground radical movement and lived as a national fugitive for a decade.
Ayers wrote extensively about his time in Ann Arbor in his memoir, “Fugitive Days,” released in 2001. During a visit to Ann Arbor that year to promote the book, he talked about being raised in Glen Ellen, a wealthy Chicago suburb, and coming to U-M in the mid-’60s after attending an exclusive prep school.
Ayers was arrested in Ann Arbor when he and other activists marched on the local draft board building. He served time in the Washtenaw County Jail, including 36 hours in the hole.
“In my mind I’d gained a credential and earned a certain informal status in the movement: the fellowship of the stockade,” he wrote of his time in jail.
Also during his time in Ann Arbor, he ran unsuccessfully for the Ann Arbor school board.
Now a professor in the College of Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Ayers lives in the Chicago area and works on education issues.
