Well to be fair OB does have some executive experience, he was the chair of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge.
Unfortunately OB doesn’t want to talk about that, to be honest if I pissed away over 100 million dollars I probably wouldn’t want to talk about it either.
Now we know why the leftist smear machine was so insnae- do you think any of them will offer an apology to this girl?

Great new video response to Greta wire…
One bit of experience for Palin I see missing. she was on this panel.
Ethics Commissioner of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission
The Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC) is an independent agency of the U.S. state of Alaska, and this agency is quasi-judicial in nature. It was originally established in 1955, was subsequently abolished, but was eventually reestablished. This Commission is responsible for overseeing oil and gas drilling and production, reservoir depletion, and certain other operations on private and state-owned lands in Alaska.

TD- Greta’s husband John is swithing to McCain/Palin
John Coale, a prominent Washington lawyer, husband of Fox TV host Greta Van Susteren and a supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, announced today that he was supporting John McCain for president. Coale, who traveled with Sen. Clinton, President Clinton and her family through out the primary season, complained of sexism, and said the Democratic Party is “being taken over by the moveon.org types” in an exclusive interview with Newsweek.com’s Tammy Haddad…”

She “protected” her sister by having her former brother-in-law fired? I see it, rather, as a vindictive abuse of power, so maybe she is the perfect plug-in for Cheney.
Add “soon to be grandmother” to Sarah Palin’s credentials. Her 17 year old daughter Bristol is five months pregnant per Governor Palin’s annoucement of today.
It’s also a great example between good and evil……..
About that “trooper-gate”… with all sorts of links to help you follow along.

The timeline is important, but even if it weren’t, I’d think you’d really have a hard time defending an officer of the law who was willing to use a taser on his 11 year old step-son. Gives that”vindictive abuse of power” a whole new meaning, don’t you think?
Palin is running as VP, obi is running for POTUS. He’s running against John McCain who’s record he can’t even BEGIN to compare to so he’s, again, trying to attack the woman, who is also more experienced than he is. Obama has a BIG problem with abusivie actions toward women. He clearly has no respect for them and clearly will abuse, harass and intimidate them in any way possible to show them that “he’s the man”.
Obi, here’s a woman telling you that YOU are not worth our time, you are not worth our vote and, SWEETIE, you can’t win without it.
Barring Hillary running on an independent ticket, which isn’t likely,
McCain/Palin 2008 for the good of the country and to hell with the party who has forsaken me and millions of other life-long Democrats. We are still Democrats, but we are NOT DNC and never will be. So long obi, so long dean, so long donna, so long nancy, so long harry, we’ve had enough of your corruption.
Obama: Experience Running Campaign is What Qualifies Him as an Executive
Obama Sets Standard that Puts Palin in the Lead
In the wake of Hurricane Gustav, which hit land today around New Orleans, Barack Obama was just interviewed on CNN by Anderson Cooper (9/1/08 10:24 p.m.) and was asked the following question:
Anderson Cooper: My final question, some of your Republican critics say that you don’t have the experience to handle a situation like this (Hurricane Gustav), they’ve in fact said that Governor Palin has more executive experience as mayor of a small town and governor of a big state as Alaska, what’s your response?
Obama: Well, you know, my understanding is that Governor Palin’s town, has I think 50 employees. We’ve got 2,500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe $12 million a year. You know, we have a budget of about 3 times that just for the month. So I think our ability to manage large systems and to execute I think has been made clear…
Pay close attention to what Obama said here because in this statement Obama compares the size of his campaign to the small Alaskan town Governor Palin was mayor of and suggests that since his campaign has more employees and will spend more money that he is then the more experienced and more qualified executive.
There’s just one small problem here for Obama. Obama apparently forgot that Governor Palin is also a governor. And perhaps he didn’t know, but the number of state employees in Alaska dwarfs anything his campaign could ever hope to hire. And the Alaska state budget is some 22 times higher than the budget of the Obama campaign.
Obama makes another interesting admission in his statement. Anderson Cooper asked him for his response to the statement that Governor Palin has more executive experience. Obama does not point to his days as a community organizer and suggest he had executive experience there. And he doesn’t point to his days in the Illinois Legislature or the U.S. Senate as places where he gained executive experience.
In his answer, he concedes that the only executive experience he has had is that of running his campaign this year. It’s a little funny because he’s actually suggesting that the experience he has gotten from running his campaign is what qualifies him to be president!
Using Obama’s own measure then, we would have to say Palin is far more qualified. She controls a budget of almost $10 billion and a state work force of some 25,000 employees – ten times the number Obama employs in his campaign. And a budget some 22 times higher than anything Obama will manage in this year’s campaign.
While everyone is busy denouncing Palin for not having enough executive experience, while noting Obama’s vast experience as a community organizer and a state senator, they overlook the following: that as the governor of a state, even a small state like Alaska, you confront issues and have responsibilities that are very much like those you will come into contact with in the White House.
Here are just a few of the areas Governor Palin has responsibility for as Governor. These show the myriad of issues she faced on a daily basis as Governor. They include:
* Government administration
* Commerce, Community & Economic Development
* Corrections/Prisons/Criminal Justice
* Education
* Environmental policies
* Fish & Game
* Health and Social Services
* Labor
* Law
* Military and Veterans’ Affairs
* Natural Resources
* Public Safety
* Revenue
* Transportation and Public Facilities
* University of Alaska
* Legislature
* Alaska Court System
* Fund Capitalization
* Public Education Fund
* Special Appropriations
* Retirement policies
Obama’s days as a community “organizer” and state senator really can’t compare to this kind of executive experience.
Using the standard Obama set himself tonight on CNN, the size of the organization each candidate has run is the measure of how much executive experience each candidate has. And by that measure, Sarah Palin has far more than he.
Absolutely brilliant pick for John Mc. Barry can expect to be taken to the cleaners on his utter lack of experience – and any whispers against her “inexperience” will be quashed by numerous examples of her successes as a city council member, mayor, and ultimately Governor. Oh, and she was a mother during all of that. What I think is perfectly brilliant is watching BS’s campaign trying to figure out how to say working mothers cannot be good mothers – and using her 17-yr old’s pregnancy as an example. I can only hope the hypocrisy would implode the campaign like a dying star and it would be replaced by a black hole deserving of the nonsense spouted by this candidate.
Good post. You wrote, T”his chart should be widely circulated” so I re-posted it on my site wiith both credit to you and to Just Say No Deal. If you would like me to remove it and just circulate it via email – give me an email with topic “CHART” and I will remove it.

Obama was assigned to chair a sub-committee about the current US involvement in Afghanistan and he never once held a committee hearing. He has no experience.
Despite the fact that some of his supporters like to call him “post-partisan” or a “unifier,” they’re clearly lying.
Would a unifier or someone who is “post-partisan” have attended a church like the one he attended for at least 20 years? Or had a relationship with Ayers, Farrakhan, Phleger, Rezko and others?
The answer is NO.
He also has very little record of bi-partisanship. On the other hand, McCain is one of the most bi-partisanship senators. Russ Feingold has referred to McCain as an independent. Tom Daschle and other Democrats have praised McCain in the past.
Obama’s campaign attacks Palin’s experience because they hope that by focusing on her, people will forget about Obama’s inexperience.
Obama’s campaign e-mails all the media sources and tells them what to say. Major media sources do what Obama’s campaign tells them to do. Since Obama’s campaign is trying to vilify Palin, the media gladly mimics Obama’s campaign.
Obama pretends to look like the good person in public by saying that people should give her teenage child some privacy. However, behind the scenes, they make sure that the media keeps attacking her family.
By Obama’s standard, George Romney (Mitt’s Dad) was the worlds most experienced executive, followed closely by Richard Nixon and Hubert Humphrey!
I ran many times for the Democratic Central Committee in my local area, and the school board, so I am revising my resume to reflect the total time I was running for office.

After the last 8 years of spending almost a TRILLION dollars on this stupid war of our hard earned money, and the shambles this country is in, people still want to elect another republican. WOW! All the hard times we face now and will face in the future is what we deserve. No wonder why the whole world calls Americans stupid. We deserve what we get if we don’t change our ways.
Interesting that someone would be anti-republican because of the dope in office, rather than look at the qualifications of people hoping to impact the future. Changing our ways is not voting for an inexperienced ego maniac who votes present because there is no teleprompter to tell him which button to press. Changiing our ways is looking at who has repeatedly crossed party lines for the good of the country.

Freaking awesome!
No mention of educational background! Religion is much more relevant when we consider who to pick as our public servants in this country? Brilliant!
We know, RAY Anderson, that you want us to believe that the world is a scary place. What’s wrong with facing tough challenges? Are you a coward? Do you have a yellow stripe up your back? Git a grip. Tough times make tough people. Handouts and community organizing makes weak minded, drug addicted, baby murdering, liberal sycophants.
I’m sorry, but while clinging to my worn out bible, I was cleaning my rifles and handguns. All the while being completely bitter about the whole situation. Good thing, the aforementioned worn out bible teaches forgiveness and love for those liberals. Or else every Right thinking person might declare a war on liberalism.
I, for one of millions, don’t care what the rest of the world thinks about Americans. What I do care about is the Freedom to protect my family and property from those of the “not the same Pedigree.” What I care about is the Freedom to use my own money for what I want to use it for. And not for funding some overpriced high school where they turn out more uneducated idiots not having anything better to do except prey on others.
We are not afraid of those who don the man-dress. That is what, in your words “…the stupid war…” has shown them. We are tired of your ilk attempting to show America in a negative light. If everyone hates us, as you say, why does the wretched refuse still long to come to our shores? America is a fine and wonderful place. There is no other place like the United States of America. America is the Land of the FREE and the Home of the BRAVE. Not the land of prisoners and the home of the lily-livered, limp-wristed, BABY Murders. That’s right. I dared to call abortion what it really is. MURDER! CHOICE, my posterior, what choice does that baby have? Death is not a choice. Death is for those who have been given a life, and a chance to do something positive with it, and have instead chosen to take the lives of others.
I don’t think God has damned America. God has blessed America. But Barack Hussein Obama via Jeremiah Wright has called on God to damn us. If Barry wins, I think that will have come to pass.
Make no mistake Barack Hussien Obama II is wrong for the job of President because of his lack of experience and his policies and beliefs. Would you like your brain surgeon to learn as he goes while operating on you or your loved ones? Obviously you do.
Pass the Scalpel.
People working in Obama’s campaign are NOT employees. They are ass-kissing syncophants who follow him in lockstep because they believe the message. To be fair, that exists in all political campaigns to one degree or another, but from what I’ve seen there’s more kool-aid drinking going on with BO’s campaign than what exists in a more typical campaign where the office seeker doesn’t have a messiah complex.
Real employees may or may not agree with the mission of the organization that employs them. Some don’t care if the organization is successful and do as little as possible to help it succeed; some actually try sabotage (and try not to get caught). Laws that have been passed in the last 30 years have made it much more difficult to fire real employees. It can take months or longer to get rid of a bad employee. If Obama wants to get rid of one of his minions, he just says the word and that person is gone … today. No fuss, no muss.
Obama’s campaign has one, and only one, goal. To get him elected. Every dime of his “budget” is used for that purpose. No evaluation of competing goals — should this money be spent on education or should we use it to hire more police officers or do repairs to existing infrastructure — is required because there are no other goals.
How tough a decision is it to decide between spending a million dollars on advertising in a swing-state such as Ohio vs. spending that million on a “get out the vote” effort in Newark, NJ? Not very. And to top it off, once the decision is made, who is going to question it? Does BO run the risk of being voted out or fired from his position as Presidential Candidate because of making poor decisions. No.
Making decisions involving competing agendas, all of which have value on some level, and which will always leave some group unhappy with the decision, and running the risk of losing the position due to poor decision-making is what any executive position is all about. For Obama to claim he has experience running a large system using his campaign as an example is a complete farce and demonstrate that he has no idea what is required to perform in any executive position. let alone the largest and most difficult executive position in the world.
I personally feel the whole abortion issue is not going to stop women from voting for McCain/Palin. I feel that the cries of the Dems are just ridiculous. If McCain/Palin win, they will still have a Democratically-controlled congress. The whole thing is a scare tactic that will not work. Palin is a modern feminist woman. You don’t have to agree with NOW or Gloria Steinem on every single issue to be a feminist.
I LOVE the Palin/Obama comparison chart. I want to circulate just that, but am computer illiterate. How can I just get the chart, without comments, blog, etc?
well, is Texas going for McCain? I certainly hope so! This is going to be a fight and the Obama Camp and Acorn are going to be playing with the voting machines or absentee votes. they like to count dead people and pets. I sure hope someone will be watching carefully!
[...] http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com/2008/09/01/palin-obama-comparison-chart/ [...]
It seems to me that Sen. McCain has a large stack of ammo he can use to expose Obamalamadingdong, but never underestimate the laziness of the “payees” that will vote for him so he can take money from the dwindling number of “payers”.
Also, Barry is admitting he has no experience by picking “Angry Joe” Biden–one of the longest loitering insiders around.
Hilarious! Palin has military affairs experience because her son enlisted?!? WTF?
And another thing that annoys me SO much is all this crap about how great it is that Palin went ahead and had her baby even though she knew it had Downs’. HELLO if you are pro-life, it follows that you’re gonna have the baby no matter what. I see all these self-professed ‘pro life’ people writing about how heroic it is that she did not abort the baby. What a bunch of hypocrits.
I didn’t note anything on there about the jet that was ’sold on ebay for a profit’. I love that one.
Texas will have nothing to do with Obama. We are above all else, Patriots! I have no pity for the so-called middle class. As I am one of them! I pay taxes, as I am proud to be an American and sure as heck don’t want the terrorists coming back to our homeland. McCain will continue to keep us safe, just as Bush has. The big difference between them, is McCain won’t let the liberal press mock him and get away with it.
Great comparison but I’m sure there is more by now. You need to remove the right hand disclaimer so you can read the entire text.
Maureen, I believe when those whacked out socialist nut jobs got into the congress they started screaming you shouldn’t send someone to war if your child isn’t going too.
Well..guess what…….
One more thing. No one likes the war, no one wants the war. They are attacking us. get it!!
And we need a comparison of the US before the idiots took over congress and after.
Why is there no reference to education? I’m a little confused. Let me see if I have this straight…..
If you grow up in Hawaii, raised by your grandparents, you’re ‘exotic, different.’ OBAMA
Grow up in Alaska eating mooseburgers, a quintessential American story. PALIN
If your name is Barack you’re a radical, unpatriotic Muslim. OBAMA
Name your kids Willow, Trig and Track, you’re a maverick. PALIN
Graduate from Harvard law School and you are unstable. OBAMA
Attend 5 different small colleges before graduating, you’re well grounded. PALIN
If you spend 3 years as a brilliant community organizer, become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, spend 8 years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, become chairman of the state Senate’s Health and Human Services committee, spend 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of 13 million people while sponsoring 131 bills and serving on theForeign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran’s Affairs committees, you don’t have any real leadership experience. OBAMA
If your total resume is: local weather girl, 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, 20 months as the governor of a state with only 650,000 people, then you’re qualified to become the country’s second highest ranking executive. PALIN
If you have been married to the same woman for 19 years while raising 2 beautiful daughters, all within Protestant churches, you’re not a real Christian. OBAMA
If you cheated on your first wife with a rich heiress, and left your disfigured wife and married the heiress the next month, you’re a Christian. MCCAIN
If you teach responsible, age appropriate sex education, including protection from predators and the proper use of birth control, you are eroding the fiber of society. OBAMA
If , while governor, you staunchly advocate abstinence only, with no other option in sex
education in your state’s school system while your unwed teen daughter ends up pregnant , you’re very responsible. PALIN
If your wife is a Harvard graduate laywer who gave up a position in a
prestigious law firm to work for the betterment of her inner city community,
then gave that up to raise a family, your family’s values don’t represent America’s. OBAMA
If you’re husband is nicknamed ‘First Dude’, with at least one DWI
conviction and no college education, who didn’t register to vote until age 25 and
once was a member of a group that advocated the secession of Alaska
from the USA, your family is extremely admirable. PALIN
OK, much clearer now! Duh….go McCain/Palin!
If I don’t care about this country, I will say “power to the media” you have successfully bring the country down. It may be better for the world because every country will be equal of owning BomBs and free to invade each others. There will be much less people to feed and the world will be greener. Your next generation will be gone. What a painful sight of America. How do we come down to this? Parents can not read; they just enjoy sex, children just play video game. So sad, so sad.
yea nice chart!

Obama: Experience Running Campaign is What Qualifies Him as an Executive
Obama Sets Standard that Puts Palin in the Lead

Obama’s days as a community “organizer” and state senator really can’t compare to this kind of executive experience.
Using the standard Obama set himself tonight on CNN, the size of the organization each candidate has run is the measure of how much executive experience each candidate has. And by that measure, Sarah Palin has far more than he.
add to above: enjoyed what you said
I could say so much about the posted chart and the comments on this page. I could do so using profanity and insults, or I could write intelligently so one might respect what I’m saying a bit more. However, I choose not to do either because of several reasons, the main one being that there is nothing anyone can say here that is actually going to make anyone else change their mind about who they are voting for and why. I don’t enjoy arguing online with people I don’t know, and will probably never know. I keep my political opinions to myself most of the time, and do my political research alone. I like to keep my research neutral; I do not look specifically for articles and charts that clearly favor the candidate I am voting for. However, after stumbling across this page while looking for an article completely non- related to the upcoming presidential election, there was one particular comment that I couldn’t help but reply to. That comment was left by “Pat L”, and this is my reply:
My Dearest Pat L,
It is generally assumed that a person who is a professional author of children’s books is a person who is well- educated, and maybe even a bit nice. You, however, are the antithesis of that. For one, you cannot just assume that because you are a Texan who probably knows other Texans who want nothing to do with Obama that means ALL of Texas will have nothing to do with him. I just so happen to be a Texan myself AND I just so happen to not know more than five people who want anything to do with McCain. So if I reposted your comment, but interchanged the names Obama and McCain, would that mean that absolutely no Texan would have anything to do with either candidate? I don’t think so. So please, don’t pretend to speak for all Texans when you, just like me, are just one in over 2 million. Also, as a young early childhood professional and parent, I find it hard to respect anything an author of “Childz Bookz” has to say. I can tell from your picture on your website that you are decently aged, so how is it that you were never taught the proper way to spell the two simple words that define what you have to offer to society? Let me help you, the proper spelling is “Childs Books”. I know it can get confusing because both the letters “s” and “z” can make the same sound, but the English language is just a bit tricky like that sometimes. I get very frustrated when I see people like you marketing such items as children’s books, and purposely misspelling words. As if it isn’t difficult enough to teach many young children to read, people like you have to come along and make it even more difficult. I don’t know how many people I have to tell, but taking the letter s out of a word and putting a z in its place doesn’t make anything any more hip or cool. Believe me, I actually am young and pretty hip and cool myself. If you need to try to glam up your books by misspelling words, maybe you should consider another career path, and if you think Bush has protected this country in any way, you should definitely reconsider calling yourself a “patriot”. A true patriot isn’t just someone who walks around waving their American flag, confessing their love to America, and licking the members of every Republican who has ever been president, or who may be president one day. A true patriot is someone who genuinely loves their country for what it has to offer them and anyone else, and who can stand to think out of her own comfortable box every now and then to consider the idea that just because a person doesn’t bare the same political stamp as you doesn’t mean that person is not a respectable person who loves their country. If being a patriot means I have to talk down about everyone who thinks differently than me while robotically believing everything the President says and giving the middle finger to every other country, then I can definitely prove you wrong by stating that I am a Texan who is not a patriot. I am an American citizen whom is very grateful to have grown up in a country that offers so many more privileges than many other countries, but who is also not ashamed to admit when her government needs an immense amount of work. Most of all, I am a Texan who does not know you, and who will hopefully never meet you, and therefore does not want you making any more false comments pretending to know what all of Texas will or will not have.
- Valerie S.
PS
I am also a Texan who, as I previously stated, works in the childcare field and will make sure to spread the word about never buying any of your products.
I love this chart! But it’s missing a “family values” section.
You know, a section where we can note how Palin bravely decided to have her Down’s Syndrome child…and has all but abandoned the child so she can run for office. Or something about how we’re all so darn proud that her knocked-up, unwed teenage daughter has decided to have the baby. Or where her trouble-making son has to switch high schools and is then pressure to join the military after vandalizing all those school buses.
I love the hypocrisy of conservative republicans. Palin is the quintessential example. She’s screaming “family values” in her sanctimonious and whining harpy voice, meanwhile, she’s abandoned her own children who so desperately need her. If this were a Democrat, she’d be savaged by you jackals.
Bottom line is, there’s no way to polish a moose turd. Which is what Sarah Palin is.
There is no comparison that can be made , Obama is without a doubt one of the most corrupt politicians in American history. Just look at is record with ACORN, Annenberg, Ayres, Davis, Khalidi, Said, Raines, Johnson, Farakhan, Shabazz, He is nothing but a flim flam man. His speeches offer only platitudes, not change. The only thing he wants to change is America, from democracy to socialism. His loud, ranting, and boring speeches always portray America in a negative light. His opposition to drilling is not to protect the environment, but to protect the people that are bank rolling his campain. Sarah Palin is a real American, Obama is a media creation, all fluff no fact. The housing crisis we are all dealing with could have been prevented, but Obama and his cronies were all involved, lining their pockets with hundreds of millions of dollars. Sarah Palin is a sucessful excutive, Obama has only succeeded in being present, lining his pockets, trying to suppress free speech, inventing new ways to commit vote fraud, creating militant youth groups, and until now hiding his corrupt past from the American people.
Sarah had the guts to bring up Baracks terrorist links, now all of the Socialistcrats are screaming foul, how dare she prompt an investigation into the background of the chosen one. All is fair in love and war. After all the Socialistcrats can probably tell you what Sarah’s first words were when she was 2 years old, after their attempt to discredit her with an unfair investigation into her life.
Go get him Sarah it’s time to tell America about the scumbag the Socialistcrats are running for President
God bless Sarah Palin.
